Grow Timeline (48 updates)
I know it was early to transplant at 1 week above soil, but the roots were already poking out the bottom of the starting tray. Used my organic living soil super mix and Mykos directly on the roots. Slightly watered them in. Around 50mL of dechlorinated tapwater at 6.8 ph. Environment is at 80% rh and 82 degrees. I sure am excited to see these ladies grow. I hate these blurple lights but it’s all I’ve got available atm.
all four ladies are looking good in this veg cabinet. waiting for my flowering room to finish out. Got around 4-6 more weeks before these go into flower hopefully. Nothing major has happened. Just watering at 6.5. Will transplant in a week or two.

I consider veg state to be hit when the first set of nodes appear on your plants and the true leaves and cotyledon leaves have withered away.
Topped them 3 days ago. Noticed earlier today there were roots hanging out the bottom of their pots. So I transplanted into pre cooked organic living soil. (35 days cooking). Other than that just been letting them dry back and watering at 6.5.
that can happen with fabric pots
what’s that buddy?
roots can sometimes make it thru the fabric pots . it’s rare cause it gets air pruned
oh I gotcha dude and yea I’ve heard that they would grow straight through those. I originally had them in small plastic containers. I was surprised to see the roots were through those.
I prefer the fabric nw they making them square so u can get more floor space
yeah I also prefer the fabric pots. I just didn’t have any small ones hows everything going your way? I remember you said you were moving outside for grow space.
I’m fully outdoors . it’s just to hot for tent in garage. if prices for a pound were still $4500-$6000 then I would run an AC . just not worth it when I can grow outdoors.
what other lights do uhave beside the spider farmer? I like the blue going on for vegg.
I hate the blurple lights tbh. but these are 55w king led lights. I have the 2 spider farmer st-2000 as you mentioned and another 240 watt blurple light. I can’t remember the brand though.
nice ,I just say the bluish light n thought I need to add some color to my game like that it might help ,idk the spider farmers do a pretty damn good job w out other lights so far but I have a small vegg grow light I start em under n then the spider farmer I took a few others back w the recipe when I was short on cash lol.
the lil vegg light is only a 18 or 20watt just enough to get em growing and to the 3 to 5 week of life.then to the sp farmer .
I just don't like how hot it gets on the flower switch. when I turn it on its 1100 ppfds with just the 1 light and 24 inches down from to 19 were I'm at now.
I feel that dude. I just don’t like the blue lights because it makes it diffucult to see what’s going on in your canopy. you only see blue. They mess with my eyes a little too. I’m impressed with the spider farmer lights man. I’d like to get the se-7000 before too long.

I just blast an ac to maintain around 74-78 during flower.
I have that and it seems too much some time for the 3.5 or 4 by 4 spot I have .shit heats up things 10 or 15 degrees upfront now at 71or71 that sucks were I live because of the humidity I don't even use a humidifier and it's at 50 to 64 % all the time.
nice
my exact thoughts lol but I have a a.c infinity intake fan and that mofo can crank up an almost suck my plant out lol .haha
if you can put an ac unit in your lung room besides your central unit, that would help your humidity control a lot. When an air conditioner runs it also pulls the moisture out out the air while it brings the ambient temperature down. I also live in a very high humidity area. Even through the winter lol. Badically I run my dehumidifier nonstop with the window unit and if it gets below my rh setpoint my humidifier kicks in.
nicely done not to mutch not to lil.
For this run I decided to manifold each plant. I waited until I got to the fifth node and topped back to the third. after that I topped at the first node each time. I have done it 4 times and will be doing it for the fifth time each later this week. After that I will give them a pre flower feed and let them adjust and get some height. when my last run is dry I can flower these babies. I’m so ready!!!
I’ve got to top these girls one more time before I flip them. I’m going to give them a good compost tea feed and too dress them for flower. Will give them 2 weeks in 18/6 to get good and ready for the flip. Hopeing these make me proud. I need them done asap. Also this is my first run using the complete spider farmer ggs monitoring system. Super excited about that as well. Wish me luck.
Just checking in on these plants since the move yesterday. Seems as if they’re adjusting nicely. Will feed them with compost tea for my next watering and will also top dress with my 4-8-4 bloom nutes and my 0-11-0. This is the second run in this soil. Hoping it’s getting better with each use.
nice 👍 what app is the environment tracked with ?
Spider farmer has an app for the ggs
sweet. thanks
no worries brotha I’m still learning how to use the app. It seems pretty user friendly so far. I had issues getting my lights connected but that’s ok I’ll figure it out eventually

All four of these girls have been topped 5 times each. I gave them the pre flower feed around 4-5 days ago I believe. I am now just waiting for them to get bigger before I flip them. I’m also still waiting for this one from last run to finish. She in turtle mode.
These have been topped five times each. I’m done with the hst for this run. I’ll start lst once I flip into flower. These plants are only 6-8 inches tall. I want them at least 18 inches tall before I flip. They are receiving 6.5 ph water, 585 PPFD, 1644 ppm Co2, VPD is .98 kpa and 40 cfm for exhaust. Run off is .9 ec. Hoping to flip in 10-14 days.
Schedule has been changed. Waiting for sex to show and it’s game on. Will feed again next week for flower. I’m using all three lights for this one. Hopefully I’ll have some pressure.
Have you updated your firmware in your spider farmer ?
I did once before I installed the system into the room. I haven’t since though.
is it 2.13?
Tbh I have no clue. I’ll check when I get home for another update. what’s new with it?
it’s downloading now
yeah bro! setup and plants are on point!
Top dressed with DTE 4-8-4 and 0-11-0. They are getting water when the pots are light. Still not seeing pistol hairs. Only a few days after flip. Staying vigilant because I have 6 M/F plants in here. Overall everything is looking swell. VPD is on point and the girls are happy. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Hopefully I will be able to continue taking care of my plants as I am looking at a major back surgery. It’s not ideal but I’ve been waiting 11 years to get fixed. Wish me luck.
Had to rearrange the plants in this room so I can better water them with my fucked up back and legs. Everything has literally just been getting watered at 6.5 ph. They’re receiving around 800-900 ppfd and 1100-1300 ppm of co2. VPD is staying around 1.0-1.1.
about the same stage with 3 girls!! outdoor grown tho.
word! I love seeing flowers beginning to grow but damn they slow lmao
I hate the wait so much 😆
most the time the hardest thing to do is leaving them tf alone haha I get impatient and remind them everyday I need them to hurry tf up
factssssssss! im constantly checking up on mine theyre babied tf out of. I think they grow so slow cuz they know the ending lol. swear they're being spiteful sometimes
That’s it haha blame it on the women! jk it gets me stir crazy
pulled 4 males out which sucks but hey that’s how she goes. The girls are looking great. wish I didn’t see floor space. still just watering at 6.5.
Is that a DIY grow room? That thing looks freaking sweet!! 👌
yeah man it’s a 4x6 room I built for flowering my plants. definitely needs some updates. Works well and easy to control my environment.
Good work!
thanks man
Wondering when the stretch will be over lol.
yep love sitting in the room chilling ❤️👍🏾
love it! aha my wife thinks I’m weird
Unfortunately my grow tent isnt big enough for that but I will leave it open and watch sometimes and I check on them constantly on days off and remotely throughout the night lol. I wake up and take care of my plants hours before I feed myself lol. Plants are living beings and to me like pets. Just because mine doesnt play fetch or poop in my shoes doesnt mean it doesnt deserve more attention than just food and water. Plants need love too ❤️
😂
It’s a great way to raise c02 levels, humans breathe 40-50k ppm of C02. 👍
yeah every time I come out wether I’m working or just chilling the ppm gets around 2k ppm
Have been just watering at 6.5 ph. My gnat issue is finally resolved after 5 million sf beneficial nematodes. Tried to defoliate some and spread some branches out for better light penetration. Also tried to tie down the one that wasn’t trained. It is 4 foot tall 😂. Noticed some purple coloring on the Gelly mama. I think it’s maybe phosphorus deficiency. I also saw some yellowing-rusty spots on the Sugar trees. I have added what each plant needs along with some mycorrhiza to get help speed up the process. I will start adding 1 Tbsp of unsulfured black strap molasses per 5 gallons of 6.5 water each watering starting next week. We are in the home stretch. I am super excited to see my progress in my organic soil blend since last grow. I have had zero issues this run. Last run I had all kinds of deficiencies and ultimately had one reverse and make seeds on itself. It’s a great feeling to see how I get better with each run I get under my belt.
looking Great!!! 💯💯💯💯
Thank you my brotha!!
These got fucked from the gnat infestation. After the sf nematodes done their work they have made a full come back. The sugar tree clone is absolutely huge and perfect in my eyes. The Apple fritter is still bouncing back. I also noticed that one of the branches has three leafs per node. I’m finally getting a hang of this Manifolding technique and am liking the results on my current run that’s flowering.
looks good, I really need to work on my training technique.
thanks dude 🙏 The only way to get better is to just do it 😎 give it a try brotha you’ll mess around and change ya life! Give the manifesting technique a chance, please!!!
So I’m thinking for my no till I’m going to use these 55 gallon drums. I have the actual grow container cut at 30 gallons. I have the actual grow container set inside the tops flipped upside down so that it keeps the soil and plants off the ground. it helps with my back in working with the plants and gives me a place for runoff and a place to collect runoff in case I need to diagnose anything. is this a good idea or any advice that I should know of?
I’m thinking I can cut a rectangle hole out of the bottom piece and bolt stainless hinges and a barrel lock for easy access to collect runoff in a container for testing. I drilled several holes in the low spots of where the soil lays. My flowering room is only 4’x6’x93”. I have plenty head room for plants. Hopefully I can fill the entire 4x6 space with two plants in 2 30 gallon grow containers. I have 644 usable watts in this room. Does any one have any input or advice or think I’ll have issues filling the canopy? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
i'm intrigued. you could fill that space with 2 plants. veg long enough and you could do it with 1. I just don't think you'd need 60 gallons of soil to do that. I wouldn't want to deal with that much soil
I’ve technically already got that much soil between all the plants I have 😂 I’m really just trying to do more with less. I can’t do a no till with 5 gallon pots efficiently. If I had it my way I would build a couple small raised beds in rooms individually separated if my wife would let me 🤣😆😂. I’ve been watching vlogs and reading into people having great success in doing the no till method in huge planters indoors. They’re a quite a few who are using 100-250 gallon pots in their basements and just growing absolute monsters with little to no work. Just feed around every 30 days and defol when absolutely necessary. Obviously my environment will have to be perfect but that’s what I’m shooting for all together
When I pull my roots the fabric pots are 100% full of feeders. If that transfers to the 30 gallon pots then they’ll be huge! also it’s no till method. so the second and third run in those pots and it’ll be plumb full of roots that hopefully will be feeding my bugs and bacteria.
hmmm 🤔
What’s up brother
are your 30 gallon fabric? that will be a big root ball either way
no I wish it were fabric that would be cool. I know it would be but after you get several runs in there it’ll pack up. Organics take awhile to break up the bigger things in the soil. I’m still learning so I may be wrong. I think it’s worth a shot anyways.
Yeah man for an indoor setup that’s probably gonna take up a ton of space. And with 30 gallons of soil the roots aren’t even gonna fill all that out unless you’re workin’ with some good living soil you can keep reusing. Grow racks or some tiered stands could help lift things up and a saucer to catch the runoff But yo, I do dig the idea if you’ve got the space for it. You’d basically be growin outdoorsized plants inside which is pretty wild.
that’s the idea man. I’ve been reusing my soil for a few runs now. it’ll get better and better the more I reuse it. I’m definitely going to try life out in the 30s and see how it goes. the research I’ve done on it shows promising results. just not sure if I can pull it off. I’m hopeful and willing to spend the time lol
My daughter had left some food in my basement that caused a fungus gnat infestation inside my basement. It took 4 weeks to get them under control. The stress from the bugs caused my plants to hermie and absolutely fucked the entire grow. only a few more weeks left just for my kid to fuck it at the end. I’m going to try next run and it it doesn’t go well I guess I’m just going to quit. If you don’t have kids, don’t have any! they fucking ruin everything. I love them will all my heart but goddamn.
🙏
what’s up brother? I can’t believe they got pollinated. imma have so many seeds lmao
Build a soil makes great product for the gnats called WDG-3000 . little expensive but works great. u can also try the mosquito dunks or bits & that helps . let soil dry back . they pain in ass
went the beneficial nematode way to fix it. it took like 9-10 days for them to get here or else they woulda been taking care of awhile back
sorry for your loss
shit happens man it fucking blows. I’ve got a fuck ton of free seeds now to run lmao
Yes I’m upset 😭
😥 seeds don't matter if you're making hash...
I know man I just don’t have any bubble bags or soft screens other than my trim bin lol. it’ll probably all get frozen until I have the means to purchase some..
i had a reg rs11 I ran couldn't figure out why it wouldn't grow . finally put my plants in bud and the rs11 was a male lucky I got it before pollen sacs open .I understand u probably become complacent after doing it for a while what mean is I inspect my lady's everyday . after this I bet it won't happen again life sucks some days but learn from it .like someone else said at least u got tons of seeds to run !! gotta find the good points . some of my bud a little premature.then the plant I thought was doing shitty after it dried it was the best one high wise
dang that sucks bad. but turn them beans around to work for you
buddy got some little soldiers 😆 that’s unfortunate… fuck it germ em and Keep a close eye on em and only use the Fems
yeah man I had spent a lot of time saving my “next run” because they were much smaller they just about died. they did bounce back and are super healthy now. Being complacent really fucked me haha shit happens. I’m going to have to take a little break and jump back in
trichomes were pretty much white all over. Wasn’t going to wait around for amber with it 100% full of seeds. Pulped the two PBJ 2.0 out and put them in the 2x4 I borrowed from a friend. I will be harvesting the seeds and collecting the hash off the seeded out plants. The PVJ 2.0 still has a couple weeks I believe. Still mostly clear and have some swelling still to do. I don’t see any seeds in either of these even though they were in the same flower room.
Same ol Same ol watering when light at 6.5 ph. The drying process is going smoothly for the plants that got pollinated. At least I’ll have these two to fall back on and smoke while my next run finishes out.
I bet it smells amazing!
yeah dude believe it or not I didn’t expect the pbj 2.0 to be fruity/candy like. Under microscope is absolutely wild looking. Trichomes stacked on top of trichomes.
Show us if you can growmie! Trichomes are growers porn!
I would if I could get a good picture out of this iPhone lol the pics never looks that good to me
The grow lights kinda mess that up sometimes
pbj trichomes check up. I’m seeing mostly cloudy trichomes but still quite a few clears. probably 70/30 white/cloudy. there’s no amber yet. the sugar tree clone is basically done for training now and ready to go into the 30 gallon container. The room and it change will be happening within the next week or so. I have so much work cleaning everything to reset. I’m not looking forward to it but it is necessary so I will be sucking it up butter cup.
hell yes!
Got the sugar tree clone and apple fritter transplanted into their new forever home. I’m excited to implement the no till method in my garden and ready to see the results. These are 27.5 gallon containers. Plenty of room for every plant to stretch out their roots and plenty of food for all the microorganisms that live in the soil. if the life inside of my soil is happy then whatever is growing out of the soil will be amazing.
Same ol shit just another day. The two different phenotypes of pbj 2.0 are beautiful in color and one is aboslutely caked in trichomes. Under the microscope pic is the bottom of a sugar leaf. That one is kind of sweet and funky. The other pheno is more fruity and sweet. The bud structures are completely different as well. It’s wild to see how wide of a spectrum you can get from two different seeds same strain. I love it. I’m waiting for the pbj’s to finish and dry so I can finish cleaning my flower room. The Apple fritter will be topped two more times before moved into flower room. will give them 2-3 weeks with 18/6 in flower room to get acclimated and under heavy lighting and then let em rip. NO FUCK UPS THIS TIME DAMNIT!!!!! Lmao
check out that ring of fire!
yeah man she’s a fuckin monster now haha I’m still patiently waiting for the flower room to free up. she’ll be 2-3 ft tall and 4 ft wide before I get her to flower.
thoroughly cleaned out the flowering room. will be putting a second sf-2000 in the space. 30 gallon grow container. Organic Liveing Soil. I’m hoping this clone will fill out this 4x4 space.
how did u get your plant to do that ?? interesting!
just patience and training is all brotha
Moving at a much quicker pace now. Glad to see some buds coming in. will feed again next week pk boost
what size pot is that?!?!? Looks beautiful, gotta see the colas after lol
it’s a 55 gallon food grade barrel cut almost in half. 30 gallons
insannnnneee
yeah man thanks lol I’m ready to see what it finishes out to be. it’s a clone off my last sugar tree run.
You got me interested for sure, manifold in a 30 gallon I gotta see the end result
The bigger the roots, the bigger the fruits. It also gives room for no till organics. Never pull the root balls and just amend when needed. As long as your bugs in your soil are happy the plant will be the best it can be.
they are receiving 35k lux right now. will be turning that up a little bit every three days for the next two weeks or until they say no more. 1600 ppm co2 6.5 ph soil 1.09 kpa.
Amazing LST! Your gonna get some nugs from that plant!
starting to see some discoloration of the newer growth. everything underneath is still beautiful green. a few leaves I’ve pulled here and there looks like she wants some calcium. what you think?
magnesium sulfate is what she wants. the yellow tiger stripping on the leaves is the indication of magnesium deficiency
cool deal I knew it was one or the other. thanks six!
Give her some cal mag to address the issues. Basically just been watering at 6.5 and training whenever I feel like she needs it. Apple fritter is under the blue still in veg. She’s stiff armed already so just waiting for a little more girth and she will be flowering as well.
Just been watering when she’s thirsty. Last check up I had to give her powdered egg shells and some Epsom salt. Since then she has recovered and continued to shine up. Trichomes are coming in nicely and nodes are pretty tight together. I’m hoping this will be 1/2-3/4 pound. I’m super excited for the Apple fritter to flower. (under blue light) When should I say go? I just keep on supercropping and spreading her out.
Took absolutely everything out of the room and cleaned everything to brand new. Added my blue/red 240watt light. also introduced the Apple fritter into the flowering room. I’m so excited and so nervous too because last run had seeds. All looks well in the garden. Now I can do is wait ,wait, and wait some more.
I’m thinking those 30 gallon pots are the bees knees. sugar tree will be entering week 5 on Saturday. Apple fritter is still in stretch. Looking like between the two plants I’ll have around 1.5-2 pounds? maybe that’s wishful thinking.
I wanna say a 8-12 easy
I know she’s not the best looking. My back has flared up and I haven’t been able to get out of bed much the past three weeks. She’s thirsty and having a deficiency. can someone help me identify what she’s lacking? I was thinking phosphorus.
Looks like phosphorus at first glance but if it’s yellowing and burning from the tips inward toward the stem then I’m calling potassium but I’d check pH and EC first though.
But I’m probably wrong and it’s calcium🤷♂️ I’d check the ph and ec first though.
2-3 weeks from sprout or first true leaves after cotyleadon leaves
