still seeing some left over mold? Wonder if I should even water until it's gone?
its been a week since watered last
scrape the mold off. sprinkle a pinch and I mean a pinch of cinnamon on the soil it will prevent further mold growth from happening.

i'm not saying this to be mean in any way. I want nothing but for you to succeed in this grow, but I don't think that's going to happen. this time. next one will be better. between the fuzzy soil and the leggy seedling this is not a good start. I would start fresh if I were you. do you have seeds left? feel free to dm with any questions or if you need help, we'll get you on the right path
it's ok. I was afraid it wasn't going to happen this time either, I still have seeds to try sgain. I think my main problem is not enough light. It looks like I'll have to invest a little more in a light and hope it doesn't die on me again.should I get rid of the soil completely or can I still use it but get rid of the top layer?
you could just put some peroxide on it and mix it all up, let it dry a bit and re use. if it were me I'd just dump it because I'm kinda lazy. you definitely need more light. you can get a cheap t5 florescent light. that'll get you through seedling phase and maybe into veg where it can go outside (depending where you live climate wise). it's going to be tough to grow cannabis in a window. i like the idea, but they are really light hungry plants.

mold I think. I just placed a fan on the plant yesterday to see if that helps. I hope I can save it.
