Grow Timeline (13 updates)
finally took her out of the Solo Cup into a 3 gallon. fed quarter gallon of nutrients. realized I should have had a little more dirt. also realizing I'll have to mix a bit more nutrients when I feed next time. fingers crossed I didn't stress her too much.
u can always use a very light solution called super thrive. Walmart even carries it . works great for transplant shock . u just don’t want to feed after u transplant . good luck 👍
Awesome! thanks for the heads up. I'll look for that before I move her to the 5gal.
Just before week 4, at around 6" tall, I topped just above her 3rd node. Also realizing that she's sitting in a 5gal grow bag (when I thought it was a 3gal). Also feel like I need to get more coco mix before too long. The bag I had wasn't enough for a 5gal and is only half full.
Is OG Kush an Auto?
nope
nope
Defoliating occasionally to allow air flow and light penetration.
LST with lattice.
Causing slow growth? Or is this average for the strain
no way that's week 8
first time doing this. I don't know if I'm being to aggressive in training. she's healthy, just stubby. counting at least 10 tops so far. feels like I'm not doing that bad?
Do you check your vpd? it is extremely important that your vpd is correct. If it is off it could be the reason you’re have slow growth. I struggled badly to keep my vpd within range throughout veg, but once it clicked in my head and I fixed it, the growth just absolutely exploded! They look healthy! Also what’s your light distance and lux or ppfd?
they look great, they just look small for the age you said. might just be the strain, idk. keep on keeping on brother🌲👍🏼
check mine out, there 5 weeks I think. 1st time for me as well. I'm waiting mid flower to put the net up, I read it gets in the way which makes sense.
if she don't break, your doing just fine. I treat mine like a red headed stepchild and haven't damaged much yet.
The VPD has been decent. Been trying to prioritize environment so it mostly stays between 1.0-.8kPa. I don't have the light measuring tools, but I run a full spectrum Mars Hydro bar led at 12"; 65%max(per manufacturer instruction)
Ha, yeah I've been thinking about how this net is going to support her flower stretch. I've got some fake bamboo sticks i can lean on. Appreciate the feedback though. Looks like you're killing over in your tent!
I would definitely look into getting a par or lux meter. They’re like $20-$30 on amazon. if your vpd is within range then wait it out. it will explode before long
it smaller in person. but I decided to give your net install a try and I personally like it. it was tough to water the center of the plants and I kinda made a mess with the fertilizer but it isolated each branch of the plant.
I'm pretty sure that I got the dates wrong as far as when veg actually started. pretty sure this is actually week 6.5 of veg. was thinking on Flipping sometime around 7 - 8 weeks
Week 6 of flower. Getting concerned about the air flow and bud-rot. Keeping humidity in the low 50/high 40.
Fans, and fans. above and below the canopy! I swear with some of the humidity levels I have been getting, having like 5 fans, 3 oscillating in my 2x4, is the only thing that saved me....
Keep it low 40% & keep vents open of u have to . If u worried about light leaking out use some ducting & put stocking over the end & run it out the bottom port & bend to 90 degrees & will allow air in without light getting in the tent & disrupting the light cycle . Good luck & u be good 👍
I don't even feed anything till week 4 unless there is deficiency's. But I use a "hot" soil on the bottom half of the pot with happy frog on top, mixed with 10% perlite and 10% coco. and there 75-85 day autos.
