the mycelium is colonizing the rye berries. it has been staying between 70-73 in the closet.
I've had tons of those yr good as long as it doesn't turn Grey or green or black. also can make yr own spore bag ,just inject yr own solution.
this is a magic mushroom bag. I injected spores into it almost 2 weeks ago and just waiting for them to colonize before I go to step 2
yeah make sure it gets all cottony white and when you break it up to put in the tub or aquarium make sure u get even chunks or even lil chunky pices are good there come right out .
can see a few Hyphen knotts.
most of the rye berry was covered with a few clumps and a couple of bare spots. I broke up the clumps and shook the bag. might be ready to put in the tote by next weekend

Tanasi Gardens. He’s got spores and whole kits available. he’s got a rumble channel as well. sacred three mushrooms.
Alright I’ll check it out. I bought a kit from Midwest and spores from micro supply but it’s been almost a month with no mycelium growth

I used to make it back in the day. It’s super easy and basic chemistry. Just a little time consuming but definitely worth it. Everyone needs to experience a DMT breakthrough atleast once in there life.
The rye berries were inoculated so I got my tote all set up. mixed up 3/4 of the manure with the rye berries and then put a layer on top. wrapped up in a blanket and set in my closet for next 2 weeks.
I really want to grow some golden teachers

I’m not sure what you mean by casing. reading the description it doesn’t say anything about it, but it is a melmak penis envy and Panama hybrid.
research casings I use vermiculite, or peat works too. a light dusting on top. or they fn blob on you.
the ingredients of the substrate are Dehydrated elephant buffalo, camel, horse manure, vermiculite, coco coir, gypsum. I mixed ~3/4 of the 5lb bag of substrate with the rye and then I coated the top with the remaining 1/4 bag. would that be sufficient?
not sure I have only used horse shit, then thin layer of vermiculite. try it and see. let me know if it works.
Shout out to SIX for his help getting me this far. I got a small clip on 13w R\B grow light from Walmart. I got the light on blue only, the lowest setting and set for 12 hours. it’s sitting in my closet at around 72•. only a matter of time and I will have some shroomies! I’m excited

my uncle was legend in these parts for his shrooms .it was a trip every time I went over there a different bird would land on my shoulder lol he had tons of exotic birds .but his mushroom with my help as a teenager I sold mushrooms to everyone at the county fair . wish he was still alive .he grew some spectacular phisbilchiblem mushrooms

looks good bud, the next flush more than likely will be better. 2nd flush is usually the best one. next time case just a bit more or just use vermiculite only and they won’t blob as much. they are PE so some is to be expected. shit with u on my team if I ever decide to give it a try .my uncle shrooms in fond du lac where I live my uncle's shrooms were legendary for real .I had all of fdl county fair on shrooms once it was great we rode rides as a teenager I rember feeling like I was melting to the gravatron lol my uncle grew some killer shrooms would love to fill his shoes !!! at 50 this is something I would do again .I'm careful what I put in my body now I loved acid too as a teenager lol
Nice! it will definitely be an experience! it’s mostly a set it and forget it process. SIX has been helping me out. this is my first grow. get 70% alcohol and make sure everything is sterilized well. you can build a home made laminar flow hood using 2 totes, a small fan and a hepa filter. this will help keep the mold spores from spreading. use distilled water. I’ll be doing my first flush in a week or two and we will see how that goes.

I just have it in a closet. most of the time it’s left in the dark. I might need to move it away from the wall for a little more airflow, but literally the only space you need is a shelf to put it on with a little light above it. I think I paid $20 for the little light I’m using at Walmart.
I’m wanting to start microdosing once my harvest comes in. I want to to a big trip too, but my main interest will be in microdosing

im a big advocate for the micro doses. a stem and a cap every two days for a week really helps boost my mood and elevat focus and creativity

them trips be the best, i dont like when my brain feels like a rubberband that just snapped back so my go to for psychs are mushrooms. so much more cleaner
I did a partial harvest on the shrooms whose caps were opened before the veil broke. I may have harvested early but I didn’t want to get off work tomorrow and they sporulated everywhere. I got 305 grams wet. the rest of the shrooms will probably be harvest Saturday morning and I will flush the substrate. I have them under my oscillating fan in the closet drying
last night I ate a 10 grams fresh cut fruit and holy fuck was it intense. hallucinations - my carpet and walls and curtains all moved on their own. i attempted to play Fortnite, but i was too busy chasing the colors and tripping out. colors were super vibrant and changing. lines were blurred, my body felt numb. I had some deep introspection. onset took less than 30 minutes. I was tripping in less than an hour and it just kept getting more and more intense. it lasted 5+ hours but it was a work night so I had to get to bed, 12 hours later I can still feel a head high, coupled with being tired. I’ll be interested to try a dried gram and see the difference between that and fresh, but last night drained a lot out of me so maybe next weekend. I have done shrooms before but never this intense. it was like the time I did acid, but cleaner.
Always had them dried never fresh sounds like a grand old time.

it was a fun time. I shouldn’t done it on a work night but I wanted to try a fresh one. SIX suggested I try it and I can say he was correct lol. it was almost too much haha. I ate it at 9pm and couldn’t get to sleep until after 2am. I been dragging ass all day

I harvested the rest of the mushies yesterday and then soaked the block in distilled water for 24 hours. I accidentally cracked the block but it didn’t completely break. hopefully it will heal itself and I can get another harvest. I will turn the light back on in the morning and start again. I got over 50g dried and stored in ziploc bag with a homemade silica pack
second flush done. i invested in a dehydrator and a coffee grinder. I ground the first batch and will make chocolates in the near future. the dehydrator seems to work pretty well. 24 hours at 110• I will probably end up grinding this batch as well.
I soaked the substrate block in distilled water for 24 hours. I’m considering doing a tip I saw on Reddit to get a center flush instead of all side pins. I will get wax paper and loosely place it on the substrate. allegedly It creates a micro climate that encourages pin growth across the top. my substrate has shrank and there is space on the sides now between the tote walls (you can see it in the picture). that space creates a micro climate that encourages side pins.

today I figured out how to make edibles of the right consistency. I made chocolate bars with powdered mushrooms and lemontek gummies. they should be 1/2 gram per square. if anyone is interested I can post a recipe for both with some pictures.

I have thought of a better way to make the chocolates since this post to help with some issues during the process. I’m going to test it out next week when I get 1 more ingredient. but the process should work with any kind of chocolate you use.
I’m going to be testing these this weekend with a few friends to see how well I did. they look yummy to me too
it’s been awhile since I’ve used them but sending good vibes brotha. I need to learn how to cultivate them.
it’s actually pretty easy. as long as you’re being sterile it’s kind of a set it and forget it grow. I used a seedling heat pad and a 13w blue light from Walmart and that’s really all the extra equipment you need. you can get a tote and make a still air box or laminar flow hood, and use rubbing alcohol to help with sterilization.

Hell yea mine too brother. this is something I’ve wanted to do for a while
yup don’t touch until it’s covered in mycelium, about a month. the spores you injected, for next time, one syringe will do multiple bags. you must keep everything sterile. (most important) Is it a all in one bag or are you going to use totes? if you are using totes, you are going to need a makeshift laminar flow hood.
you can’t see it well in the 1st pic but the tote that everything came in will be where they fruit. there are holes drilled into the side with filter patches to go over. the lid is loose fitting. he didn’t call laminar flow but I think maybe that’s what it’s going for? I will colonize in the 3lb rye berry bag and then put that with 5lb manure mix in the tote for fruiting.
I am telling you from experience, if you don’t make a flow hood you are wasting your money and time. they will mold for sure. I can tell you how I made one. if you want. also I use plastic totes then I place inside of a giant ziplock bag to colonize. before I open totes I spray Lysol in bags to kill mold. billions of mold spore in the air especially in summer time.
I will Dm a picture of the one I made. the tote it came in is not a flow hood. that tote is what you put inside your flow hood when you add horse shit.
