Grow Timeline (10 updates)
It really depends on how you plan on managing it. If you want low and wide, top early. For most standard grows topping usually happens when you have 4-6 nodes. You can further manage height by tying branches down or other various LST/HST methods.
i do want a short and wide grow. thank you for your info
Anytime. So basically what happens when you top, not only do you get 2 heads instead of 1, but as it heals it allows the lowers to catch up a bit in the process. You can drill holes at the top of you container to serve as anchor points to tie down with to assist in leveling the top of your canopy as well.
thank you very much. I do have plant training clips or will tieing them down be better
I think you have more control tying. with clips nodes get in the way, or they pop off. or you could do both, use clips where you can and tie the rest. or my go to supercropping ๐
