First grow

Both seeds are planted. Pepper gas seems to grow fast. I have a five year old mystery seed planted in the middle.

I only watered the starter plug before planting so the soil was starting to dry. I watered the area around the humidity domes today with cal mag.

Galaxy fuel is sprouted. Pepper gas already looks strong. I was having problems keeping the vpd down. I had to run out and get a humidifier.

The plants look great. They're starting to grow new sets of leaves. I watered the whole pot today, till runoff, for the first time. I was only watering around the base of the starter plug at first to encourage root growth.

They have true leaves developing nicely. Guess they like they're environment. I'm running 81°f, 82-83 humidity, and vdp at .6-.7 .

Plants are developing a new set of true leaves. They are officially in early veg.😁🥦🥦🥬 I raised light intensity from 40% to 60% and lowered humidity from 80% to 70%. Trying to keep my vpd between .8 and 1.2 .

Caught the Galaxy fuel "praying" today.🙌🏻🙏🏻 Looking so healthy. Increased the light from 60% to 61%. I'm gradually increasing to 73% for veggie stage.

starting noticing little signs of deficiency, like purple stems and the leaves color being pale. I now know when growing in Coco you have to start getting nutrients in a little earlier than I did. My run off is 6.4 and 600ppm. 👍🏻This is fun learning about these plants.

started feeding every other day. I've been using half of the recommendation for a light feed on gh hydroponics. Next feeding I will be bumping up to the whole recommendation for a light feeding.

the new growth is definitely greener. plants were hungry. gave them their first full feed from general hydroponics light feed chart. I was giving only half feed. they seem to like it. I increased the light to 69 percent today. they seem to like the lighting, evidenced by the short internodal length.

started week 4 feedings. increasing micros. run off was 702 ppm 6.3-6.4 pH. means the plants are hungry and still actively feeding. high pH means I need to continue with the feeding solution in the lower pH range to compensate for coco buffer.

so, I have been watering/feeding everyday now using general hydroponics feeding chart. I'm using the recommended dose for week 4, late veg. The plants are responding wonderfully. Even got their color back. I've learned you should definitely be watering/feeding more when growing in straight Coco. The run off was lower EC than the input and pH is still high at 6.4, but acceptable.

Both plants are transitioning. This is exciting.

Pepper Gas is building flowers. The Galaxy fuel is close.

Got a lot of the unnecessary stuff off. I will be removing any blocking fan leaves in 7-10 days.

Girls are looking good. Had a little hiccup with the hybrid and she starting getting some yellow tips. Had to lower the EC some, but she is still growing like crazy. They grew back all the bushiness I cut lol.

The Galaxy Fuel is a monster. The two plants have filled my 4x4x6.5 tent. I'm going to have to tie down the top of the Galaxy Fuel to keep it from hitting the light. Roots were showing on the top of the plants, so I buffered some Coco with Cal-mag and added to the top of the pots.

There is no more room for these plants. I've bent them from hitting the lights. I defoliate every other day and they keep growing. I love it. 💪🏻

My bracts are swelling. Will start dialing back on the nutes next week. This is exciting!

Getting Fat😁

They are getting close. 1-2 more weeks.

Still having fun learning on this first grow. Excited for the next one, but staying focused on this one. I'm thinking a few more days for full ripening.

The hybrid is all cloudy trichomes. The Indica is mostly cloudy with some clear trichomes. I'm thinking 7-10 days on the hybrid and 10-14 on the Indica. I will begin final flushing tomorrow.

I can't believe I made it this far. I can't wait to smoke these babies💨😤

Trim jail is a real thing. Wifey and I have been trimming all day and we're only done with half of one plant. We're going to have to harvest the Pepper Gas tomorrow.

Pepper Gas was harvested today. Her buds are nice! Both plants are strung up in the tent. The trellis made a great way to hang all the branches and keep them separated from each other. Filled up almost the whole trellis though. 🤭

Successfully completed my first grow. I got some beautiful buds. Wifey and I have already been smoking some of course and I'm very satisfied. We have almost a pound and a freezer full of larf to make hash. Yes, I made my own trim bin🤭🤣😂. I'll make a better one next time.💨😤
