Grow Timeline (7 updates)
The last couple of storms have worked against me. Well that and inexperience. let some of my girls get too big and now I have some collapsing under their own weight. I’m limited on how much I can support and tie them up with their location. The GG#4 is supposed to be done tomorrow n a week or so but I have 2 literally collapsing under the weight of the buds. So I figure I can selectively prune off the biggest flowers to give it some relief but if I have to completely harvest it’ll only be a week early. The green crack are another story. They’re supposed to have another month but one literally split and I have it wired back together but it’s still collapsing. I’m going to try to selectively prune the biggest, heaviest flowers to give it some relief and hopefully keep it going for another 3-4 weeks but I don’t know. Any thoughts or suggestions?
use some bamboo sticks or dowels and drive them into the ground. tie the plant up with them.
I’ve looked for some but all I can find is 8ft local. And the ones that are collapsing are 9ft plus. I let them get too big. Next year I’m going to keep them around 6ft tall with a bungee trellis. I plant in pods of 4. I had one plant that I kind of wrote off because it had gotten dug up a few times by raccoons. It stunted it for a while but now it’s the prettiest one I have and even though the flowers are the same size as the others, it’s managing the weight way better.
I have had that happen to me and my uncle always told me if it’s still hanging on by a thread it will still grow and not to worry about it to much will bounce back in a week or so
you can get 6 or 7 2x4s and make a four legged stand to hang branch’s off of. it would be a cheap way to let them finish. you’ll be kicking yourself in the ass after harvest brotha. try anything you can to get them to the finish line big dog. you can do it I know you can. stoners are the most creative mfs known to mankind.
least she’s frosty!!!! 🥺🥺🥺
I kicked that idea around all day yesterday. Was out of town but yeah, may give this a shot.
it would be best if you could save em and let em finish brotha hopefully it’ll work out in your favor
Got em braced up and supported now. Just couldn’t stand cutting them early.
So I have some plants that I think are showing me signs they are done? Am I on or off the right track here? The GG#4 are supposed to be done mid September but the green crack is t supposed to be done until next month. But some are showing signs. At least I think they are.
No… I’d say Issa tree 🌲…… 👀 😆

Are you using any CalMag? Or making sure it has enough calcium? It looks to me like it is hungry for something
Not particularly calmag but I switched over to a blooming fertilize about 2 weeks ago. Still has nitrogen in it but more phosphorus and potassium. First saw it about 4-6 weeks ago. Snipped off what was off colored to be on the safe side but it came back. Only 1 of the 4 planted together has it.
Clipping the leaves when it is a deficiency problem will spread it upwards for sure. Hmmm, where you are still in Veg I wouldn't go with the bloom nutes just yet but I would try some CalMag or Epsom salts. You can use unscented Epsom salts and water and use it to water your plants for a good way for them to get magnesium and sulfur really fast.
I was afraid it was some kind of mold at first. That’s why I clipped it off. I will definitely try the epsom salt and see if that helps. Thanks!
No problem. And yeah for sure we all don't know until we try 🍻
Yeah this is my first go around and with it being outdoors and as wet as it’s been where I am this year, it had me worried for sure.
let it dry out, then give it a good flush, see if that helps.
Hey BG, it is a magnesium deficiency.
Someone above mentioned epsom salt for a mag deficiency. How would that be dosed per gallon of water?
How would epsom salt be dosed per gallon of water?
try using pure coconut water no additives. 100% coco water. they sell it all over. 15ml to 1 liter
Ok. I’ll try that.
