Grow Timeline (6 updates)
As long as my fingertip to my shoulder now. Starting to look fuzzy some as well.
days are getting shorter so she will be showing signs of flowering soon . begin to dial down the nitrogen . u didn’t want to do any type of training to the plant ?
With it being my first im just trying to see what I can get out of it with just basic maintenance. Just getting a feel for it all.
that a good idea . I mentoring someone on this app & advised him to do the same . learn the plant & most of all learn how to read the plant . what it needs or what is wrong with it & how to fix it . biggest mistake new growers make is to much love . either overwatering or over feeding. best advice I can give is to just keep it simple & not to micromanage the plant . it been around along time without our help . always learn the next step . start learning what to do when it in flower stage . then during that stage learn how & what to do for drying & curing . that hardest part
I know how to care for it when trimming and drying out. I want to see if I can keep this one growing for a while and trim off the buds as they grow. Any tips on keeping it going for more then 1 season? other then keeping inside and controlled environment.
I been running the same strain for close to 2 years , but I begin my indoor grow end of October . u can try using those cover clothes u place over plant & has a zip lock underneath to keep it on . I use em around October.keeping em alive outside will be hard no matter where u live .
thank you for the advice.
u got it . pretty hard to try & keep it alive through the winter .i don’t grow in my tents during summer s way to hot & not spending more money on ac . if it was still $6500/pound then i would . I have a couple clones & i keep em under a T5 light so they stay alive & healthy but not grow large until im ready to open up the tent. it doesn’t take up any space . i have my outdoor grows
How long does it grow flower if trimming them off as it grows?
u can take a clone while it’s in flower & keep lights on for 18/6 & she will go back to the veg stage . will look like a mutant but it ok . my green crack was revegged . will have some leaves that are only 1 fingered .
to clone you just snip off a branch right? Is there a certain way to do it?
u have to snip off the right branch . not a fan leaf . u cut it at a 45 degree angle & u need to use a cloning gel or the powder then u put it in a pot with starter soil . I like to use a clear solo cup with drain holes in bottom. then I will take a red solo cup & put the clear cup inside that red cup to shield it from light . I have a specific alohe that’s for plants . I mix cup of water & the powder alohe & let the cut sit in it for 4 hours then I will use either the powder or gel . dip the 45 degree cut into gel & right into soil . takes 10-14 days to take root . people use raw honey instead of gel or cloning powder

Is it possible to keep it as is in a controlled environment without cloning it or would it just die even if kept well.
keep it at 18/6 & feed it vegetation nutrients
Thank you!
u got it , just don’t feed it to heavy . u can also let it flower & when it time to harvest save some leaves on the bottom & then flip the lights back to an18/6 light cycle & it will reveg . I have a plant I saved & revegged . it will look like a mutant & could have single fan leaves instead of the 5 finger leaf . this is normal & will be fine
My first flower starting to grow.
is that a male? am newish to growing too
Sheena was a man. 🍆
yup, it’s a dude.
This is my first grow so I'm not 100% sure but it is showing signs of both male and female.
It is showing signs of both male and female.
yup because it’s a hermafrodite unstable strains can do this if they are stressed for too long.
so it will produce seeds but the flower will be 💩 or can it be good? I had a couple do that to me at the start of the year so just binned them 👍🍁
how many do you have in your tent? if you have more bin this 1 as it will spread polin onto your other flowers and you will get hundreds of seeds and no good flower
Never thought I'd have a hermaphrodite my first go. Not sure how well the flower will be.
It's just one outside grow.
I can no longer measure by my arm length and it is only showing signs of male after being unsure at first. Any recommendations to make it less seeds?
Chop it that way you’re not pollinating any female plants down wind. Pollen can travel up to 100s of miles
it is the only one I planted for my first time.
you have to have both male and female to make seeds. this will only produce pollen, no actual buds or trichomes. trash it if it’s your only one and start over. if you have just regular seeds, i would do a few and pick out the females and toss the males.
I thought it still was okay to keep males they just were not as strong as female.
males will produce pollen, females will produce buds. males do not bud up they make pollen sacs.
they still have thc though right?
very very little because the males don’t produce trichomes like female. you’re better off starting over if you have no use for pollen. you’re not going to get any buds just pollen sacs. order some fem seeds to start with.
I'd rather try to get what I can from it since it still has cbd in it.
i know it sucks cause it’s first grow, but you won’t get what you’re looking for in it, no buds to smoke, and i don’t think you would want to smoke pollen sacs. no trichomes will form so no thc to turn into cbn.
I came up with Neem oil in my research. I'm new at this so definitely take my advice with a grain of salt.
thank you for your insight.
