Grow Timeline (19 updates)
any recommendations or info would be awesome, chemdog hasn't popped up out of the soil yet I put the seed directly in the soil instead of using the paper towel method like I did on the others, I wil post that grow when it sprouts.
Babies are looking healthy to me please add any input you can! these are my first auto babies ever. 70% Coco coir and 30% perlite for my soil and im running 1 ml of advanced nutrients per liter of 6.5ph tap water. going to start using Cal mag today
Looks good for me!
4 out of 7 plants are in veg I would say by now, growing new leaves everyday it feels like now. Still running roughly 3ml of advanced ph perfect nutrients line per 1l of water. the 4 big ones are getting 1 liter every other day and the small ones about half of that.
Been trying to just let them do their thing. leaving them alone as much as possible. im assuming I should top soon? im coming up on my 4th and 5th node on the bigger ones. im nervous about topping autos and stunting them. all comments are helpfull. thank you
I wouldn't top them, just lollipop her and then you're fine
do you have anymore info on when I should lollipop them and how to go about thay? I've only ever done lst and sog never lolipopped. I've been taking her big leaves and folding them under itself so the smaller leaves can get more light.
lollipoping means you cut all the small buds and leafs, wich don't get any light. Because they will use nutrients and water but for no reason. you can watch any YouTube tutorial or something, there is a lot ๐
thanks man
you're welcome growmie
White hairs at the base of each node on the 4 bigger plants. 2 smaller ones are still a bit behind. I noticed I could actually smell them for the first time when I watered yesterday. thats when I noticed the hairs. did some training with 90ยฐ clips to try and even the canopy out on them. im thinking about a scrog net.
girls are doing okay but these lights ain't cutting it, upgrading to a vivison 6450 4x4 bar light with the vivison control hub Monday evening. anyone used this setup before? good? bad? any tips? im worried about burning them or shocking them with too much light compared to the ones I have right now? is that a dumb thought?
I'd invest in a par meter, don't get fancy with it, can get a decent one on Amazon. mine was like 40 or 50 bucks. Compared it to my buddies meter which was way more expensive and they read VERY close in measurements. See what yours is putting to the plants then install new light and match them up. After that just increase it to where it needs to be for best growth. I put mine at 200ish for seedlings, 600ish for veg and 900 to 1000 for flower.
great advice thank you very much, my current cheap Amazon 200w actaul draw led lights are putting about 200-400ppfd to the canopy with the app on my phone. should I be looking at par not ppfd
I go on par...its the spectrum that the plant actually uses

They were marketed as 65 day seed to harvest and ill say if I had this light the whole time that may have happened but I think we will we around 70 for one of them and 85 or so for the rest
What light did you have before?
I was running two cheap 50$ 200 watt LED full spectrums, definitely worked but wasn't nearly strong enough to keep the plants from stretching like crazy, they are about 5 foot tall plants rights now, shouldn't get much bigger. Last couple weeks for one of the plants and last three or so for the rest.
I cut one of my Northern lights yesterday at day 65, I know it needed more time but I found a branch of male balls filled with pollen and cut that branch out but felt funny about leaving the plant in the tent with the others so I harvested it. Hopefully the buds won't shrink down to nothing on me! They were nice dence buds when I cut it but I know it needed longer, thinking back maybe just should have left it..... live and learn
any help would be awesome. it's my first time with auto babies and I'm nervous
I always feel like we over water when they are babies like this.
sry was hoping someone would have responded i feel like thats alot of water for a seedling but im new myself I studied water purification and learning plants now lol
I don't think it's alot of water when you think about it, 1 liter for 4 5 gallon pots every other day... idk maybe I'm wrong but they seem to be liking it soil isn't too wet and dries up nicely before next feedings
