Grow Timeline (20 updates)

Running Vivosun Auto Recipe. Their guide seems to think I should be past this stage by now. Going to have to do more research and see the average grow rate. Anyone got input is more than welcome to Chime in.
Attached 1 week worth of data for Temp, Humidity & VPD.
Soil - pH 7

72.5Β°
pH 7.26

looks good to me. stats look good too. π€

Still running off the Vivosun Recipe. Cotlyedon leaves have started to yellow, I'm assuming (Hoping) due to the second set of leaves coming in.
Still haven't received the drip feeder, apparently it's on the way though. media on top has started to dry, however below the surface we are still on the moist side.
Aerostream Humidifier was installed after the Week 2 Update. It's not as automatic to the Recipe as I thought (note for future Vivosun investors). Have to manually turn the USB on and monitor to not over do RH. I could be doing something wrong, however I haven't found the answer yet.
*Soil*
pH : 7
Saturation: Moist below the surface
*Water*
Temp: 72.5Β°
pH: 7.25
ppm: 242
I have been using the Aerostream H19. it has been doing a great job of maintaining g my temps while running my recipe. It is however connected via wifi to my GroHub E42A controller. not sure about how there grow box works. your app even looks different a little than mine π€
the vgrow is almost a set it and forget it system. Other than having to fill the reservoir up, i don't really do much. Once I got the lung room figured out, everything has been pretty smooth .
Yeah, unfortunately for me, my lung room is well not ideal. I had to set up in the garage, for now anyways. It is well insulated, but unheated. Right now it's 48Β°F and 43% RH. I bought the small Vivosun greenhouse heater. The one with the digital thermostat and remote probe. It has been keeping the temps consistently in the mid 70s with my RH set to 65%.
The temps across the tent are pretty consistent. I have 4 probes in the tent positioned in different areas to get all over readings. With all the air circulation I have going on in the tent, and the exhaust fan set to 1 as the standby setting (it rarely has to increase the speed) the temps are within a couple of degrees.

Second set of leaves have emerged.
I added more soil to the pot since the shrinkage from coco was greater than expected. (Vgrow buyers beware to buy extra, luckily I bought a large brick in addition)
look awesome I'm on my day 3

Day 2 of Vivosun Veg Recipe. There was significant growth this past week, which is why I flipped the schedule.
pH of water in the reservoir has slightly rose since last week, still haven't received the drip irrigation yet. Probably best to not have it yet, let these roots grow and search for water.
Happy growing, on to another week!
Soil

Late update this week, pH meter dropped its calibration, water level was getting low, still trying to figure out this humidity crisis through the night. Vivosun needs to get this auto Humidifier in order.
Overall plant is growing slowly, but surely. Got the drip Irrigation installed, will probably adjust them later on. Coco has been a great media so far. Starting to see what I think is salt deposits on the side of the fabric pot.
Soil-
pH 7
Water-
pH 6.14

temp 70Β°
Just make sure youβre adding Plenty of Calmac when running Coco. looking good

I'm just going to run this plant through it's course and call it a lesson learned. autos are pretty damn sensitive.
I would hit it w8th a tea..vital tea mix bring it back to happy or build.

I think I'll try a worm cast tea. do you have any suggestions?
I love that scrog net.

how far into flower are you? im still seemie new. so just comparing mine to your's. I'm 2 weeks into flower and mine looks the same
I'm a new grower as well. I'd say I'm a couple days into flower. I flipped to the flower Recipe on Sunday 12/8.

Lollipop day! before and after pictures plus an aerial view.
looking good! my very first grow was a white widow auto, started with 3 seeds and ended up with 1 plant that was harvested way too early and was terrible. Where did you get the seeds from I'm curious about where else I could try it from?
these are from seedsman, I didn't know about the bad before going through them, however I'm new at this so I can't blame seedsman for this specific grow. I'm going to try Royal Queen next, photo, not sure what strain.
makes sense I think mine were from pacific seed bank. so far everything else I've run has been fastbuds I might give seedsman a try once I run out of beans

Finally bought 9 gallons of distilled water, balanced range was 5.51 to 5.74. Runoff after 1st gallon was 6.1. From gallon 2 to 8 my pH Runoff ran all the way up to 6.8, I thought wtf is going on. I then trusted the process, put a diluted feeding in the 9th gallon and measured the run off. It dropped all the way down to 5.8. I tested with reagent and Exstik to confirm. probably too late in the game, but it was neat to witness. Next to get USB Microscope.
Are you fairly new to growing?
yes
yes
I see that you are getting close to harvest. How far up is the light to your plant? Do you touch and squeeze your buds, what does it smell like?
I have yet to actually touch and squeeze, but she smells so sweet it's amazing.
I eventually got to squeezing them and checking them out a little closer. they are pretty dense now, and have a very sweet smell.

Just checking out the new gear and trichs!
awesome what is it called? π¬
Plugable Digital Microscope https://a.co/d/1BYZyr5 I got the 250x zoom
nice π I want to check one out
too me they're pretty cheap, so it's worth giving one a try.
oh ya only $40 definitely

it ain't much, but for a first time grow, I'm happy with where I've gotten so far. stay tuned for the next plant!
congrats on your first grow! that first smoke test is a surreal experience
I'll be happy if I get a bowl worth to smoke!
How long do you leave them to dry & then your curing time, but done right then the first blunt should be out of this world. And it's from your own hands, well worth it. π
I let them dry for 4 days, and they're in Grove bags now for at least 5-6 weeks. thank you!

how long do you let your taproot root develope before putting it into the medium your using?
everybody has their own preference, i go for 1"-1.5". Some people germinate stright in the medium. all depends on you
