Grow Timeline (8 updates)
So again we soaked both seeds in Spark for about 30 min, then rinsed and placed into the Root Riot cubes that were recommended to me by another grower on this app. Did a little research, and bought the hundy bag...
Decided to go back to the 5 gal bags for indoor, 7 gal were just not used up by the roots. They only went about halfway down the 7 gal pots.
when filling the 5 gal bags I placed coco coir in the bottom quarter, and filled the rest with Happy Frog amended with a package of Organic Biosciences (Foop) biochar.
Left the pots out in the rain to soak them, as we are under a water reduction order. Been lucky all summer with using Dehumidifier and Air Conditioner reclaimed water for all of our plants watering anyways...
I had to remove those first leaves as they were not recovering from my heavy handed misting with lights on a while ago.
Gave them the seedling feeding of Foop, mostly to get the microbes going a bit more in the soil. These girls are in fresh happy frog so they won't need any more than very weak feedings to keep the biology going for a while... Each recieved seedling week 1, 1/2 gallon each.
So we fed the girls Foop Veg Week 2 with Si, CalMag, a touch of Signal to see about the red leaf stems ( forgot the technical term ). I really can not wait to see how this Fat Bastard Auto is going to turn out, I know I may have to worry a little about stretch with the Bruce Banner...
Looking good! Keep it going.
Yes the Foop is seeming to do pretty well on these 2 runs, now that i know a little better about its shortcomings. Been using some TPS CalMag, Si, and Signal so far to make up for what is lacking for Autos... I reached out to Foop a couple of times about using the Bloom and Veg at the same time like a few sites are recommending with autos, due to their specific needs, but alas, I have fallen on deaf eyes, I guess!!!
Sorry guys, went off grid for a minute. Kind of taking a break from everything... except growing!
Girls in the tent are doing pretty well, recovering nicely from a minor bit of nutrient π₯.
Definitely getting the hang of the nutrients a lot better, also learning to dial my lights back a bit more. I noticed the upper leaves tacoing quite a bit a week or so ago, I have the lights down to 80% in Flower spectrum and will continue to monitor. Also have upped to daily watering and feeding of about 3/4 gallon a day, nutes are still Foop and TPS at half strength, started about 3 days ago.
wassup stranger they got tall mane!!!!
welcome back, now get to work. π give your girls a shot of potassium they need it. π
Yes they definitely blew up! they are beginning to frost nicely as well...
I have been giving them the max dose! π€ guess I will have to squeeze a little more in there...
if thatβs the case I wouldnβt add more, more leaning toward your nitrogen to potassium ratio is out of wack try less nitrogen just a suggestion though
I'm on the second watering of just Si and light cal-mag... the centers of the leaves have really come back over the past few days.
Sometimes we all just need to get away from phones, tvs, screens in general. Im back now, I think, I hope, I am really going to try.
Anyways...
They chopped and dried, smoke pretty well right from the start on the Fat bastard. The Bruce Banner really needed a longer cure before she was even potent.
Welcome back :-)
Thanks
Glad to see u back & hope all is well with you & the family. Good to get away & clear the mind
Thank you, things are going well.
Good to hear ππ
Nothing wrong with taking a break π Glad to see you back
Thanks, and appreciated!
and so it begins!!!! Happy growing!!!! what are your plans for this run?
These 2 girls are are going into the 2x4. Going to see if I finally have my nutrient regime dialed in, finally. once that's settled I can start playing with how far these autos can be pushed with training. Remember I'm just getting my seeds currently from Homegrown Cannabis Co. So let's see what they can do....
alrighty then Iβll be looking fwd to seeing what they do too!!! HAPPY GROWINGπ―π―π―
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. They are greatly appreciated. π
