Grow Timeline (17 updates)
They're all starting to bush out. Need to start shaping them and get their final pots ready. Frosted Grease is lagging behind the others but holding strong. I don't normally top but may need to with her to encourage more side branching
Dip N Stix looks like she's gonna be a monster. She was fairly even before so didn't have to bend the main much. Event Horizon another monster. Only plant keeping up with her is Dip N Stix. She was also fairly even but had more side branching
Frosted Grease is coming along. She's growing more tall and lanky than a bush. This LST should help her show more of her potential.
ZGxPR is tight bush that's gonna need more work to space her out. She's staying pretty compact compared to the others
Long time since my last update but here are pics from week 3 of flower. Event horizon is the largest girl while ZGxPR is the shortest. Had to put ZGxPR on a crate to get it close to the others. Little puff balls are popping up everywhere!
Exotic Genetix Event Horizon -I'm upset I forgot to get pictures before I chopped her. She was the most vigorous and ended as the largest of the 4. The structure and yield were very good as should be expected from the brand. Half the branches did buckle under the weight so support is still needed. Will definitely run more of their stuff and will run this one again.
Clearwater Zero Gravity x Pablo's Revenge - She has some sort of mutation which I think led to her being squat. She smelled the sweetest of them all. She didn't have the largest buds but still didn't do well holding the weight. I might run her again down the line depending on how she smokes to see if other phenos perform better. I have other CW genetics but I'm in no rush to pop more just yet.
Sticky Genetics (Hempfest) Frosted Grease - She was third in overall size but not by much. Her structure and yield were good. She needs to be trained early and often to maximize her potential. This pheno wanted to grow straight up like a beanstalk. All the branches wanted to stay close to the main stem. Branches didn't thicken greatly so support is definitely needed. This could go back to training her earlier to give them more of a chance to do so. Where she really shined or rather outshined the others was in her smell. She went from this sweet tropical citrus to this funky burnt garlic by the end of flower that overpowered everything in the tent including the carbon filter! Can't wait to see how she comes out of cure. The feed was spot on for her and didn't think she could've been pushed much harder. Planning to get more SG into the tent in the near future. I have packs from their other 3 breeders so it will be fun to see what they can do but Hempfest did set the best high lol
Smoking Monkey DipNStix - She was second in size behind Event Horizon. Structure and yield were very good. She did great at holding the weight except some of the thinner outer branches. She took the longest time to finish off the 4. I think it cost my yield some since I initially cut her off with the others. She easily went another 2 weeks before finally deciding to fade. Definitely could've went harder on the nutes with her and she probably would've yielded the most. If I like the smoke I might run this back in the tent by herself and see what she can really do. Already have plans for running SM autos next.
