Grow Timeline (12 updates)

There is a far bit growth between these two photos, say a week or so. But it's a nice wee plant anyway. ๐
those are 2 separate plants, don't know which is which but one is grand daddy purple and the other Durban poison. I planted both seeds at the same time but they are way different.
Sorry for that, but I didn't realize it was 2 different plants. ๐
Is that in a 5 gallon bucket? Seems like it needs more soil.
It's just a temp bucket before I transfer over to my fabric ones.

you should throw a 20% wormcasting and fist of perlite in there. Will help so much h when the first set of leafs deplenish of nutrients and falls off.

missed watering yesterday so one in the back is droopy but they are on an aggressive feed regiment so it should bounce back by tomorrow morning
Missing even just one day can definitely cause issues that might not show right away but can become much harder to fix later on. Some symptoms are subtle at firstโslight droop, slowed growth, or early stress markersโand by the time theyโre noticeable, the plantโs already been dealing with it for a while. Thatโs why itโs so important to check on them every single day, even if itโs just for a few seconds. It doesnโt take much time, but that consistency makes all the difference in catching things early and keeping everything running smooth. Happy Growing ๐ฟ

took the plants out of the tent to rearrange them and give them more space but I'm stuffing 2 plants into a 4x2x2 tent. Gonna have to try something different on the next grow
looks like your either over watering or putting to much nutrients in. either and or both are why the tips of your leaves are turning brown
I'm using an aggressive feed just to see how it affects the grow. light nutrient burn on the tips of the leave but the buds are bigger than the last time I grew.
oooooooooo gotcha!!!! forgive me, my friend.

When you guys are getting ready to chop your grow down what metrics do you use? like my go to is wait for the tricomes to become cloudy and about 18-20% turn amber. I would love to hear other opinions.
Personally, I scope my lowers (if possible) and wait til most of those cloud over and I got signs of ambers, then I check the tops. if the tops have clouded and showing 10% or better in amber, it's time. Having that said, some strains trichromes mature less uniform. And you could end up with too much amber if you wait for the clear caps to cloud. It's why I run everything at least twice. Learn the plant behaviors in round one and stay 2 steps ahead round 2. But it's personal preference, the more amber, the more couch lockish it's gonna be. I like to have variety and lowers always seem to mature slower.
I would agree with stash also if you search for libreloud he did a great job of pulling down in layers on his exotic grow. if you have time and space letting the lower nugs mature as well.
I'm glad you mentioned something about the lower nuggs because I was hyper focused on the tops. This is my second grow with a full indoor setup so I'm still figuring out a lot and testing new things. I really appreciate ya.
Thanks I'm about to check that out now.
You may also want to try under lighting. Running my first run with them and seems to work well. ๐
My first hint that a plant is close is the pistils. Long as there isn't too many new white pistils showing that's the first sign but not all strains will show orange hairs, some will still be white. As always, a good old scope is really the best way to tell. usually once you start seeing some amber trichs it's a good sign it's close. I'll post some micro shots of my trichs tomorrow morning from the next 2 plants that I'm getting ready to harvest soon. Will start flushing them today and they should be ready in 5 to 7 days tops.
Second checking lower for cloudy trichomes. I overlooked these for my first year or so.
Pistils are hard for me cause I'm color blind.
Gooo you! isn't awesome? you did that! good job!!!!!
ahh it's always a great feeling when you get to sit back and reap the rewards
makes me excited for the next grow.
for real. I'm so happy for you. be happy for the small things in life. this is amazing work!

nice start ๐
