Change of light spectrum and airflow adjustment. temps about 75. still moist soil so no watering atm. Red stems are getting alot brighter 🤔 💭
nice stuff.. you mentioned the stems. Thats magnesium deficiency man or it can be Simply just genetics, you can get away with it tho. 👊
yeah it freaked me out at first cuz it happened (its grown its entire life outside with 4 others some in the same soil even) with two that were grown in the same soil (one has red stems one has deep purple) so i thought it was deficiency of more than one things but upon research and asking around they all said genetics as well. they've never shown signs of yellowing either which also threw me... never any burn or discolor
yeah sounds like genetics man I don't blqnw you for freaking out. just recently I experienced all that lol have a look at mine. I had ph issues from running my ph to high went from using organics for years to general hydroponics. I hope your grow turns out to be decent tho man nothing worse then putting all your time and energy into something for it to go to shit.
yeah i can't really complain either way. these particular ones are seeds I got from someone as a gift in a pre roll tube and they weren't feminized and I have no clue as to what all strains I got from them. had 3 males i had to get rid of from the same tube. so im stoked I got some good looking girls. trying some colloidal silver to get feminized seeds for next year to start with some clones
oh nice man nothing wrong with free seeds lol mystery strain ay could be something awesome. tried new strain today called Gorrila butter shit was so tasty. I'm making seeds to bro, apple Betty auto cross gorrila glue autos. Not sure how it will turn out will be my first cross doing autos.. last year I made strawberry fire og that was a mad cross gave all the seeds away tho to friends. I get paranoid sometimes I'm in Aus so yeah you now how it is.
yeah i was googling what strains have red and purple stems and i guess ALOT of the higher tier ones do so its hit and miss. could very well be some hybrid stuff someone home grew. I purchased autos and tried a couple one flowered WAY to early for an unknown reason and the other one died when I brought it inside from outside cuz it was hitting 50 degrees at night and minimum is 65 with these.
yeah well I hope it's a decent strain. yeah they can shock easy basically they have to bebspot on from day one normally only have around 30 days of veg max. I have grown alot of them some can get massive tho ATM the run I'm doing I'm not happy with only because I know they could have got bigger. we all make mistakes tho ay
yeah live and learn lol. looking pretty nice so far so hoping it's a decent strain fr. I have no idea what to expect from these girls as far as a yield atm there's still new flowers popping up but im gonna for sure get clones to get a head start on growth this spring
is that red all the way around the leaf branch or just on top? I’ve heard from old heads that some will sunburn haha idk if there’s any science to it or if it’s genes. magnesium deficiency would show in other ways as well such as yellowing inbetween the veins from the bottom leaves. it’s a mobile nutrient so if it’s not fixed it would move up the plant to supply the new growth. They like healthy to me brother. keep on doing what you doing!
it has red hues actually. the stems have been red on this since about mid veg or so is when I noticed it. after research since there's no leaf discoloration the red is genetic. I have a plant growing started about the same time that has purple and they grew outdoors in the same conditions literally 3 feet away from each other. I legit freaked at first then was like ah ok cool. There is a magnet in the background as im trying out EC and heard magnets CAN improve the effects. don't seem to be hurting it lol.
