getting bigger now
holy ... I'm a beginner and instinctively I used toilet paper to wipe the droplets off but never thought this could happen I did it to prevent mold even if it is unrealistic.. so it just burnt through? did U watered with plain water or water + fertilizer
That doesn't look like light burn, more like chemical burn. It can make a comeback!
weird the other 2 had same treatment may just stronger because the are a week older
yup
π ffs well was a free seed Kush mass
if it's the only one you have f it, grow it out. make bee food. as long as no one else in the neighbor hood is growing that is .....or if they are and you don't like themπ
I was just thinking of plant it somewhere π€£
is it a hermie I added another pic
the last pic is female. the 2nd to last pic the little green flap w the dried up end. that's the stipule. it's used to protect new growth and in some plants they turn into thorns. both male and female have them
same plant in all these pics
well in that case exterminate with extreme prejudice
seems to be making progress 1st time grower but I'm confident I'm doing OK π
looks good...if you haven't already I would recommend removing leaves that are blocking lower bud site...dont do to much at once to avoid stressing the plant while developing flowers ππ
second bluecheese started to flower and 2 x bubblegum stretching out need to get lights quick, only running off 150w vevor light and a temu grow light (that I have no idea on wattage ) in a 4x4 lol they get sun most days so technically I'm running 24 lights
im running off a temu light also In a 4x4 lol
kush had the worst day ever 2 stems nearly broke off and main stem is damaged top cola is floppy now. Applied manuka honey and wired her back together. in other news Blue cheese buds has swollen
Ouch. Know how that feels, my dog ran through a plant and split her in half. Elastic band keeping her together has she heals but damn that was crazy.
I've got a bit happy trimming only 10 days left, will this bulk them up or did I f#ck up?
those plants have a ton of leaves on them
last pics
TLDR; Defoliation methods serve its purposes but we should probably keep those fan leaves until they die off naturally. I feel like theres a misconception when we talk about defoliation. Fan leaves are absolutely required by the plant during all cycles of its life. They act as one of the main power sources. A little less known is that they also are the storehouses of what they produce. When a leaf is under the canopy, we believe that it is taking more than actually producing when this is not the case. The leaf is actively storing the carbs produced during the day through photosynthesis. At night, when there is no sun or lights, the plant uses the stored energy stores from the fan leaves. Lets get back to defoliation. When we defoliate or βlollipop//manifoldβ, we are essentially telling the plant to focus its growth in other areas. Usually, the bottom of the plant will produce less potent and smaller buds because the main cola is the one getting all the juice. Cutting off these lower producing branches or βlollipoppingβ will allow the plant to focus the energy elsewhere. βManifoldingβ or topping allows for more growth sites at the cost of losing the main cola. This process usually stunts the plant for a little but isnβt too much of an issue. During flower, we want the plant to focus on bud growth and not plant/stalk/branch growth. In either case, the plant will use the energy of the fan leaves until the fan leaves are dying off. This musnβt be confused with a nutrient deficiency, in fact it is the opposite. The plant is focusing on producing only buds not itβs own survival. At this point, these leaves can be pulled off quite easily, and this is the only time that I will defoliate during floweing.
some awesome information bud good job and spot on
thank you so I'm guessing I over done it every day is a school day I suppose this is my first plant have 4 others to go
3 fans and a dehumidifier and still can't get it below 65% found some but rot on main bud and picked it off
try forcing air into your tent for a positive pressure by using a box fan blowing air into the mesh vent at bottom.
can you just leave your tent door open?
try getting a dehumidifier
it is
it is
yeah i have trouble late in flower with humidity as well. gonna throw my dehumidifier into the tent once the plants hit flower
π€£ typo
is this the normal at the end nutrients sucked into buds or nutrient problems
thatβs called a fade . the bloom cycle the nitrogen is reduced so the leaves will yellow & die . u can pluck off any dead leaves this way u wont get any pests issues .
If she is 6 weeks into flower I would say thatβs too much fade too soon. π³
In my experience, your plant now has too much nitrogen. Keep an eye on the none faded leaves and sugar leaves for any curling. Also, if you think youβre growing Cat Pizz, its the ammonia being made from the unused nitrogen. If this is the case, recommend doing a flush or finding some nitrogen fixing bacteria/fungi
4 days left edit... had to chop her down noticed more bud rot
looks so good
π₯π₯π₯
gonna be a nice harvest ππ
thanks had to do the chop today had more bud rot
it happens man. the fatter the buds the higher the chance. my recommendation is have plenty of oscillating fans running 24/7 and monitor your humidity at night because thatβs when it will spike as the temp drops. you want to make your plants shimmy in the wind.
71.27grams really surprised myself old school Blue cheese brought back some memories
germination was 7th april
what do the tricombs look like?
some clear some cloudy
some clear some cloudy
I could be wrong, but understood that your looking for mostly cloudy w/ a little amber
yeah thatβs what i was told mostly milky with some amber, the amber is when it turns to CBN, milky or cloudy is like max thc potency, resources says to aim for 10-20% amber for a balanced effect of both.
if there are still clear wait it out for more cloudy to come through just watch on how much amber is coming through, clear means still needs to mature to cloudy for thc
they need a thumbs up button for comments
smaller one has light damage and is 31 days
they look to be doing great. I have a short as space and my blue cheese are shorter than those.
I have a hard time light burning and I max out ppf and DLI to keep them short.
