so backed up ppm and cal mag and other additives altogether with plain ro water and increased main bloom nutes since adding hydroplex and increasing main nute and backing ppm up by 25 raised light inch believe I was lacking potassium plants are looking much better so I believe the cause was to much additives not enough main bloom nutes and yes I believe temp and humidity still has part in it but at Ieast I'm seeing improvements
Nice recovery I mean really nice fast turn around I bet that was a huge relief for you for them to look this good after your scare
for sure still fighting with the humidity and temp just going to have to invest in some better equipment in do time but yea big relief
Mate you done well to bring her back so fast
Mate you done well to bring her back so fast
thank you plan to post some new pics in 5 days
lookin super happy!
π
those don't look healthy at all
color is off cause of red lights and temp Lil high with low side humidity but over all there eating and drinking and growing fast what's wrong with them and how do I fix it
so instead of being helpful you just comment negatively with out no positive advice only my 3rd grow think I'm doing ok...for someone with 20 yrs experience you'd think you'd have some good information for me thanks for your input
If I had time to play 20 questions I might indulge you. I don't.... just stating facts
apparently you got time. you got time to comment negatively without advice. then to comment again your on this app for a reason so your not as good as you think either
My comment was not even a sentence long. I don't have time to diagnose your grow. watch you tube.... ppfd VPD DLI
I use this app to keep track of my grow..... Its an easy way to keep track of things. that's it
so up date I'm 9 days from 9 weeks pretty sure got root rot it's not extreme yet so going to change water twice a week and chop at 9 weeks leaves are yellowing/browning buds look good so keeping fingers crossed was planing on 10 weeks but not pushing it I'll post some pics after harvest and trim hopefully
using cal-mag silica blast hydroplex hydrogaurd sweet berry and bloom nutes
your root zone may have issues. also your ppm is high. I am 5 week of flower and fed them 500 ppm you may be feeding too much, 6.2 ph in hydro is high as well. shoot for 5.8, use lots of air for your nutrient solution. when leaves are dark green and shiny, itβs a sign of nitrogen toxicity. couple of suggestions for you is all π
also, if possible get your humidity to 75% they canβt breathe with low humidity
I agree with humidity but maybe in 60s 75 seems extreme I'm usally between 5.8 and 6.3 ph just threw a middle number out roots seem to be ok I got 2 4x2 air stones in each bucket and ill try backing ppm up some and try maintaining lower ph struggling with humidity but also try getting that up thank you for your quick response and experience
up to you on humidity. just telling you what works for me. Iβm running 70% in week 5 flower. I lower week 7-9 have you tried running higher humidity? if so why do you think itβs a bad idea?
cause I'm in dwc it's nothing but water and all research says 40 to 60 for flower I agree it should be higher 40 to 50 is to low in my opinion belive thats part of my leaf problems along with excess/deficiency hard to tell apart for me just a battle to get it that high in my house and I've tried humidifier in tent didn't work for me caused issues in my set up I leave tent unzipped to help with temp and humidity probably need better equipment
going try raise humidity lower temp and ppm raised light little too
no worries man, you will figure it out. good luck with your grow
It's impossible to identify a humidity percentage without knowing the temperature. VPD is the bottom line, not humidity percentage.
in the notes above I stated 82 f temp 45 humidity vpd is to high with this temp and humidity but it's a challenge to get better in my house with out buying more equipment just wanted to make sure wasn't something with nutes
My point being, VPD includes all factors, temperature, humidity and leaf temperature. You are most likely running at well over 2.0 VPD, depending on leaf temperature, which isn't just too high, it's WAY too high. Temperature and humidity control is always a battle, but that humidity definitely needs to increase. Those twisted leaves may be a result of low humidity also.
Try using an open bucket of water in your grow, that should bring up the humidity. Where I live, the humidity rarely gets over 30% so I totally understand the struggle.
yea going to try some stuff tonight I got my lights out during day to help combat it all
Yes, my next grow will be lights out during the day. My first grow was DWC, I didn't know it was more difficult than other methods.....lol. This hobby, as hobbies go, isn't cheap, but I've found that quality lights and control of temperature and humidity are the very basics for indoor growing. Of course I'm no expert, but one day I hope to be....π
absolutely agree happy growing
The AC infinity humidifier is really good you can set the vpd and have the humidifier outside the tent with the hose attachment if you want
At that temperature with low humidity the plants stomata won't open and take in CO2 and can look like a burn or deficiency
so backed up ppm and cal mag and other additives altogether with plain ro water and increased main bloom nutes since adding hydroplex and increasing main nute and backing ppm up by 25 raised light inch believe I was lacking potassium plants are looking much better so I believe the cause was to much additives not enough main bloom nutes I'll post new pics asap and yes I believe temp and humidity still has part in it but at Ieast I'm seeing improvements
got the ac infinity t3 humidifier coming tomorrow
