U using canna coco ? I know they use to come with a lot of trips . So frustrating, how u making out with getting rid of em ?

Ye I'm using canna vega and terra as growing in soil at the moment i was using canna coco on last grow. How would they come with trips that's crazy, I would of thought they came from outside. Was using neem oil up to flower but only seemed to slow em down. With winter after kicking in slowed them a little too. Tried to order Amblyseius swirskii (predatory mites) but they wouldnt deliver to my location

It can come from being left outside in storage or during the process of making the coco, also if u have any houseplants u might check them & see . One of those things that can come from a lot of places . Canna coco was famous for having a lot of thrips . I just killed an entire grow in October of my mother plants were spider mite infestation & I hadn’t had them since we had grow in wharehouse . Best to have IPM plan & do on same day while in veg . Switch up sprays or they can become immune & turn into zombie pests

All a learning curve I only started my 1st grow last April. I didn't really think much of pests until recently I'm sure my last crop had them and never copped looking back at the banana and strawberry grow the signs wer right there all along staring at me in the face. It happens to all growers new & old . Always be proactive & when in veg have a strategy & pick a day & do IPM on that day once a week when lights off & change up spray each week . U can also make your own with different oils peppermint , cinnamon thyme oils .use blue sticky traps for trips for monitoring population, they not for killing trips . Also add diomataceous earth on top of soil , it like going thru glass for trips & adds silica in soil . Good luck 👍

I know it’s fine and useable, but off my bare hands like that grosses me out. I wear gloves and 9 times outta 10 don’t save that bit cause it makes me sick thinking of smoking it lol.

The air we breathe is worse than a lil bit of finger hash skin cells I get what your saying but ya. Id be more worried about whats on those plastic gloves that your smoking.😉🙈😉🤣
