Grow Timeline (5 updates)

Trimmed her up or lollipopped her I'm not sure. Was told it would help it focus on bud growth so I'm trying it.
you say your not sure? new at this then? no worries if so, I am also still learning lots... anyways lollipoping doesn't normally happen until after the veggitative stage. lots of us are topping our plants and forcing lots of branches to grow, then bending them outwards trying cover more sq/footage. once the plant is ready to flip to flower THEN you would defoliate and lollipop... different resources say to do it at different times. I did a major strip right at day 1 flower... then again week 3 flower. check out my pics and see what I mean. anyways don't stress, just do a bit more research and that plant will grow back into a beast. keep it up.
βοΈ 100%. hydro nailed it again. follow his grows and you'll learn a ton. he does a really good job at explaining what he's doing and currently has a grow to be jealous of.
@glitch ..haha aww thanks π βΊοΈ I've been following your stuff very closely also. took some of your info from our private chat to help my root rot scenario
I really appreciate the advice
You right, his plants do look amazing
yeah absolutely π― π... this is a great little community π

Trying to get the leaves to quit curling
tacoing can happen for few reasons. usually too hot, too much ligh, if it's for those reasons, the leaf is attempting to cut down it's surface area. it thinks it's gonna cook so it reduces transpiration to preserve water. what are the conditions in the tent/grow area?
I try to keep it around 75 with a good about of moisture but I've been having trouble with my heater not going off right and my soil dries out a lot faster than I'm used to. The light is almost 2 foot away from them though.
just a suggestion, try to lower temperature or raise humidity, the curling is a sign of heat stress. cheers
Thank you

I added more water and cooled the area to help fix the tacoing and this happened. Should I trim the leaves or just leave them?
I think your overwatering or have the light to close. what concerns me most is the white hairs coming out of the stem. is this an autoflower? even if, it still shouldnβt be showing signs of flower yet
oh and as much as it pains u to see the leaves in distress, u need to leave them on right now
i appreciate it. I'm not sure I just thought it was growing normally
she's hungry for one! are you feeding nutes and if so what are you feeding? you can sometimes get a plant to go into a second veg stage if it flowers early from stress like this. I grew some Seriotica outdoors last season that did exactly that. as for watering, only water her when bone dry. the pot should be light when you pick it up too. don't water on schedule, just water when dry.
ok cool I'll use that advice and I'm not feeding anything really just whatever is in my tap water.
you could top dress with some dr. earth's fertilizer. you can find it at lowes, home depot, Walmart, tractor supply, Amazon, etc. your plant will need something though. compost can help. earth worm castings can be found outside if you don't mind getting dirty.
if you're using tap water it might have too much chlorine or chlorinine etc what I do is fill up a couple of 5 gallon containers with my water and let it sit somewhat close to the heater and let it offgas for at least 24 hours preferably 48+ hours before using it for watering. ideally we would be using reverse osmosis deionized water lol
I let my jugs sit for a couple of days before using but tap is all I use and I'll look into feeding the girls something soon for sure
Honestly, you may want to start over. she wonβt produce much anyway. You will be struggling with her. I feed my seedlings as soon as they get their first set of leaves. Donβt forget to feed cal-mag really important. Itβs all part of getting better. I struggled a lot. 20 years ago there wasnβt any information available. cheers π»
Leave the leaves... They're solar panels that power growth, not just what you see above, but what you can't below. Also, Autoflowers are super sensitive to any stress, especially early on. So it's advised to plant directly into final home, and keep up with regular feedings, while making sure to properly pH each feeding. Optimal pH is dependent on medium and the current pH of said medium. Common noob mistakes -watering -too much light -too heavy nutes -medium pH levels Sometimes less is more and more is less. Solid watering practices -if possible water with RO, Distilled or harvested rain water. If tap is a must, degass for at least 24hrs -Let pots run dry before watering/feeding, and when they do aim for 10-15% moisture level. So if your pot is 5gal, 1/2 gallon or 2L should suffice. If watering becomes a chore up the levels until you can go at least 24hrs before it dries up. -Bottom feed if/when possible, this will reduce unwanted pest, mold & diseases and guarantees that your root zone is taken care of. Feeding -Follow manufacturer's label -If your unfamiliar with the product, start at 1/2 dose and monitor results. If all fairs well, wean it up to full strength until the product proves trustworthy. -Don't feed more than twice a week -If salt based products are used, flush every 3 weeks to prevent buildup that could lead to nutrition lock-out. https://images.app.goo.gl/roiG8oqeWAqjQsTL9 Lighting -Full Spectrum is preferred (R/G/B) -Ideal DLI for veg is around 40 mol/mΒ²/d or 600PPFD https://images.app.goo.gl/fagJmjJxMT5p4Lwh8 If you don't have a DLI/PAR meter, you can use a LUX app, which isn't as accurate, but better than nothing. Test/Calibrate it with the sun outside. VPD Probably the most important environmental factor, as it directly effects how a plant breathes. Optimal VPD will vary throughout the course of the grow. FYI, This app has a VPD calculator if you need it. https://images.app.goo.gl/VG4dMy2SkvaGqZzWA With the lack of information, I can only assume that your lights are too close, causing too much heat and not enough humidity to counter, causing the leafs to constrict and produce that upwards curl. My honest advise would be continue to try to rectify your mistakes and use this plant as training... but I would also go ahead and pop another bean and try to get it right as you don't want to waste all that time for little reward, which is the path it's on. Good Luck and I hope this information empowers you!
i appreciate it. these were the only ones I had and will have for a while is why I'm trying to keep them but I will try to use the advice the best I can.

i have, just have to win to get em
Awesome π hope you win!

looking good so far just keep going read as much as you can, watch popular growers vids and ask any questions on here and I'm sure some of the more experienced members won't have a problem answering
You seem to be a decent grower if you're seedling anything to go by, but as last comment says, read decent books and whatever you can find online videos etc. And you'll be alright. Cheers Dreamy. π
