not sure why the blue caper looks weak. light is 600 watt LED set to 50 percent at 26 inches above canopy. 71.1 degree f, 60% humidity. only used half the recommended nutrients using fox farm grow big and big bloom.
she just needs some cal mag is all. 👊
try to raise your containers off the floor, it sucks the heat out of your soil. soil should be around 75-80 for rapid growth. I use a heating pad to keep temps till they are older. just a suggestion. the higher the container more the heat stays constant
try switching your environment if possible to 80 degrees and 75-85% humidity. for the first 2 weeks or more.
Will do, thanks for the suggestions. I knew the tempt and humidity should be higher but in a basement in western ny it’s kind of hard. it’s hard to see in the pictures but they are in saucers only an inch or so off the ground. I will figure out a way to raise them a bit more. thanks again!
How much time from seed to this?
1-7 days max usually 3-4
do u guys soak wit water or straight soil??
water because soil is to hot
🤙🏽
I soak in dampen paper towel till the bean pops. Then I put in soil with the taproot down in small container (solo cup sized) and then usually 2-3 days before she sees the light.
From my experience depends on seed and depth planted. I level the soil out when planting the popped bean the best I can without crushing it. If I don’t see soil lifting after 3-4 days I start worrying and may gently pull the seed out to check it, but that’s a risky move.
thanks
