Grow Timeline (10 updates)
I replaced the water in the self watering bases with ph6.0 to water after adding cal mag yesterday and recalibrating my ph pen I then added a tiny bit of 6.0 ph water to the top now Iβll leave them hopefully it helps get some calcium to the roots
Grow Note β Mid-Flower Management (Week 3β4)
To optimize plant health and bud development, Iβve been dialing in multiple variables:
β’ Nutrients: Feeding with Fox Farm trio (Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom) + Bembe and 3 mL Cal-Mag per 1.5 gallons. Optional root additives like Recharge and Kangaroots are used based on plant response.
β’ pH Target: Feeds are consistently adjusted to pH 6.4β6.6 to stay within the ideal nutrient uptake range for flowering.
β’ PPM/EC: Feed strength is tuned to ~975β1050 ppm depending on plant response. Runoff EC is monitored to avoid salt buildup and lockout.
β’ Light (PPFD): Canopy-level PPFD is held in the 700β850 ΞΌmol/mΒ²/s range for dense bud formation, using Vivosun VSFD4500 and Mars Hydro TS1000, with added UV from IonBeam U2 bars.
β’ Feeding Schedule: Plants are fed every 2β3 days, or when pots feel light and soil is dry 1β2 inches down. Each gets 1β1.5 gallons depending on size and thirst. Recharge is used between feeds to maintain microbial health.
β’ Environment: Humidity and VPD are closely monitored to keep conditions in the ideal range for flowering (VPD ~1.3β1.5 kPa), with exhaust fan and humidifier tuned via ac infinity controller
The one plant had some pH issues. The color has come back after I addressed some of it.
I'm no expert by any means, but they look good to me. I'd thin the lower stuff though, it's just going to divert resources from the upper canopy. Just my opinion
I really appreciate your opinion. I will probably do that. Thank you. I tried to get rid of some of the Rafie stuff, but I wasnβt sure how far I can trim up the plant if some of those bigger leaves are detrimental.
I meant to say, larfy
Defoliated the bottom to create more airflow keeping feed the same going to start adding big bud to increase flowering nutrients keeping VPD around 1.4 to 1.6 focusing on dry backs humidity is staying around 50 to 60 temperature 7578 during the day at night when they sleep temperature gets down to 68
I have been watching my vpd and my drybacks trichomes are coming along nicely going light on nutrients just using some p and k for the next two weeks then a gradual flush doing a water feed water feed schedule Iβm tapering off the big bud and the big bloom just using tiger bloom and tapering cal mag been letting temps drop at night for terpenes and trichomes humidity has been on point since I upgraded my dehumidifier
I also just started LST like yesterday. I hate seeing my plant like that but it's for the greater good haha
I know Iβm just anxious hoping it donβt snap Iβve been using chat gpt for my numbers in the ac infinity app itβs been amazing
Yeah I'd be careful and as far as I know make sure the roots are getting good oxygen with silica or perlite, apparently it helps them stay bendy. Just don't mess with the skinnier branches, I made the mistake of tucking one of the first leaves because it was really thin and it just snapped off I felt so bad lol
I have everything set now I wait
Good luck!!! Be careful when tucking, I snapped a branch the other day. Thankfully I needed to defoliate those leaves anyways but still, be careful, dont bend them at 90 degree angles lol
