Pot size is better off increase incrementally to the size of the plant. Watering without run off is cause slow drying and I imagine salt buildup. Probably going to dig her out and put her in a 2 gal pot. 👍😑🫣😎. As pirates guys says right on right on.
Don't do it if it's auto an u want bigger. It may throw into flowering

Already transplanted her. Put some clay pebbles at the bottom of a 2 gal pot and watered the perimeter. Shes got breathing room and food. Next watering with be with some mycorrhizal. She's rocking now. You could say I just gave her a tummy tuck of sorts. 😂
Yah, I typically grow autos in one gal pots. It speeds there cycle up pretty quick. On average I can get about 54g from an auto in a 1 gal pot. 5 will fit in my 3x3.

Magnesium will darken it for you.
I got some of that, I was only using 3ml per gal of cal mag early on. I could up that or add a little sweet into her mix. I skipped a pot size from solo to 2 gal so the drain to waste is a little much for her I think.
How many weeks do you usually veg? I got the pink mist in dwc on week six but would like to have a bigger plant this time. I'm not worried about space but everything I've grown so far is knee high. 😂
What are your night temperatures? I veg roughly 45 days
Low says 69 but thats only for an hour at best. I keep the room the tents are in around 70° and the tents themselves around 75°
I also wanted to ask you, if know the science behind all this or did you learn trial and error?
I started growing in 2005 With no experience, all I had was high times magazines and weed magazine to get limited knowledge. Mostly just watching and observing. I have had a lot of fugged up grows That’s why I like to help people out. I know what it’s like to struggle with this plant
I run veg at 80 degrees day And 68-70 at night Warmer nights will keep them short

Must have missed checking the pH on the last feeding. She was upwards of 7.0. Little lady went into lockout and started eating herself, necrosis 🤮. Gave her a 1gallon feeding drain to waste of pH 5.91 with 300 ppm salts as a correction . Run off now at 5.95. 👍🏻 you can see the green progressively coming back into the leaves from the center. Its so cool.

Super simple with the drain to waste. 1.5 gal of food through a 5 gal pot. I started putting clay pebbles at the bottom and it makes the coco breath so well.
I think Hydro wins almost every time .
