Grow Timeline (31 updates)
First time on this app! I had a couple previous grows last year that didn't turn out well. The first because my goofy ass tried to grow em in miracle grow. I'm back for another attempt with all the right stuff this time and I'm totally open to tips and tricks from experienced fellas. 😎🤙
One of the lil girls popped up to say hi but the other is still a lil shy. Just got a new cheap humidifier off of Amazon that came in today because the humidity has always been pretty low in the tent and where I live. The soil was still kinda damp so I didn't water.
raised the light in my tent a couple inches. Took me a while to find the motivation to water since I discovered my succulent watering can had ACTUAL DOG TURDS INSIDE IT. I cleaned it out and all is well.
So! turns out I had gnats in the soil. big no no. luckily it was transfer day so I carefully washed the old soil off and transferred the girlies into their new single gallon homes. nice and cozy. I hope I didn't kill the hell out of em but I put up some little things to help hold em up.
I've got gnats again but at this point idk if there's anything I can do bout it. everywhere I look says they're not too bad to the plant. Also a little spotting I think on one girly any advice would be greatly appreciated!
watered the girlies today they were looking quite thirsty. ALSO noticed pretty much no signs of gnats anymore. I didn't really do anything besides some spritz of hydrogen peroxide on the flying ones (not many), but they have seemingly all vanished. I'm still going to get Mosquito Bites and Cal-Mag ordered tomorrow when I get paid. Thanks to SIX for the advice! P.S. I trimmed the spotted leave off and couple off the other plant after I took the pictures.

Girls were THIRSTY and don't worry! I watered a couple days ago and forgot to post. I made up a slurry of nutrients and some spare Cal+Mag my dad had from his grow. I've been lazy about getting the mosquito bits 😅. Hopefully everything is all good with the girls. Happy Grows!

Looking good so far! Prolly watered a little late but they're alright. Just an average update on watering to keep my actions organized. 🤙
Watered the girlies with nutes and Cal+Mag again. Stayed up a little later than needed playing MTG with my wife but still needed to tend to the plants. Should I be watering everytime with all the nutes and Cal+mag? I've heard to cycle with a plain watering every other time. idk 😐. Also I think a transfer to their big girl pots is in order.
I definitely did NOT realize how many days had passed since my last water. Even before I opened the app to check when I did I could have sworn it was like 2 days ago. THORSTY GORLS FORGIVE ME.

that soil runs a little hot and should give you all the nutrients you need till about the 4th week of veg. By giving it all those additional nutrients you may be over feeding...just a thought

oh yeah I'm aware, it's been about 4 weeks since transfer. I am going to transfer again soon but I'm thinking to start watering with plain water in between nutrients.
transplanted into their BIG 7 gal pots and watered em with plain water. planning on watering with plain water for a few weeks. May not have filled them enough but that's all the soil I had so they'll have to deal.
Big oopsie. I had to re edit this post because I can't post more than once a day. I went to check on my plants and noticed the lights are on. I have my light cycle fron 11am-5pm, prolly not ideal but it's what I set to be most convient. I looked at my light timer and sure enough. This entire grow they've had 24/7 light. Theyve looked fine this whole grow but I'm stopping that right now and correcting it.
One thing I learned about Cannabis plants is that you don't want to water them at night because that is when they try to take in the most oxygen from their roots. I try to water mine first thing in the morning or early afternoon.
All good I'm the hood. Watered with plain water. I got a trellis net in the mail to set a canopy but I'm not sure when to set it up. The plants are 12'' tall at this point so I would think pretty soon. Im gonna work on lowering the vpd it's been fairly warm lately so the tent stays at 80°F most the time, so it should be a matter of just keeping the humidity at that sweet spot. Happy Grows 😁
I also struggled with the trellis but i found out to use the Trellis when the Branches are long so i can put the langer branches at the same height as the smaller ones. So the smaller can catch up. im not a professional but this technique makes sense for me
yeah that sounds about right. I asked my brother (he's been growing years now) he says he usually puts the net up when he flips em to flower
your brothers information seems legit. as i started to use it in week 2 of flowering for this grow.
Is someone eating my leaves? just one plant no signs of bug life except a single gnat but he may have flown in after I opened it. Even so I didn't think gnats did that. Strange....
I had a couple leafs look suspicious as well this last grow. didn’t have any pest issues. best I could figure was my environment was a little off and once I fixed it the plant didn’t have anymore like it. Good Luck brotha

girls are looking good trunks are gettin thicker and smells nice and fresh 🌿 planning on swapping them to flower at 8 weeks along with trimming and adding the trellis.
Trimmed up the girlies and installed the trellis net while getting rid of the humidifier for the rest of the grow. I accidentally ripped one of the heads of the branches but I'm sure she'll turn out right. Let me know how I did with the trellis! Happy Grows 🤘
Haven't posted in a minute just because with the routine with watering and other tasks throughout the day I forget to post. Rest assured the plants are doin good and shaping alright.
Apologies for the late post! I'm just gonna stick with weekly updates while in the flower stage since not much is happening besides growth. thinking bout throwing some nutes in there next time I water. Happy Grows! 🤙
Watered the girlies a couple days ago added some nutes but that's about it. Nugs are coming in nice so far kinda cool to watch em progress! Keep on keepin' on fellas 🤙

sorry guys I keep forgetting to post but really has been no change besides the nugs getting more of an amber color. They were a little thirsty when I took the photos (yesterday) but they are lookin a lot happier now.

I'll admit I missed a watering session I should have watered sooner but all is well. Can't say for certain how much yield I'll have but it's gonna be more than I hoped for. it's definitely feelin like a Monday. seems like weeks go by faster and faster. Not much change with the plants just a little more amber and maybe a lil beef. Should be harvesting next week! Happy Grows y'all!
I trimmed all those sugar leaves off it was pretty easy while there was still moisture in the plant; made it easy to bend the branches to get just the right angle to cut the ones nestled in the buds, but I finally got em all hung. Now the drying begins! Made my office smell super funkalicious but my wife wasn't too happy lol. I noticed part of the plants look brown in one of the photos but I assure you that's my camera and not the plant itself it's green I promise. Don't you worry though I'll be updating til the very moment I smoke my first successful grow 💪
It's been awhile since I updated... The plants smoked up and I got some more seeds. Just waiting for some magic to set in my brain and get some motivation to clean and set it up again. I'm excited to start growing again and posting updates. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!!!!

Meow bring on the catpiss strain lol . We always had cats always 2 and when 1 gets old we bring in another. There great to have around in winter for pest . I had a mouse problem once they ate my seedlings no shit like 5 of them !!!

hey Whoopey, I use mosquito bites for gnats, soak some in water overnight and use water to feed plants with. otherwise nematodes work as well, can get both from amazon
The spots on plant is a calcium deficiency, add some cal mag and she will be fine.
