Grow Timeline (34 updates)
The 4 that went into Rockwool yesterday are looking really good, and the 5th seed has cracked and is now in a paper towel.
looking good. Iโm interested in seeing how this grows. Iโve been wanting to try some Acapulco Gold
she has joined her sisters in the tent for the rooting stage. lights are at a nice mellow 35%, and we have two fans running for a mild breeze.
This looks very nice. How long have you been doing hydro for?
about a decade... my first few grows were in soil, but I switched to dwc and never looked back.
Very nice. I have only done soil and would love to try hydro
I love it... so clean, and you don't need to worry about over watering. Just need to keep the buckets full, and keep a close eye on the pH.
I'm starting hdro myself having hard time getting plant started any suggestions
where are you having problems? germinating the seeds? or moving from seedlings into Rockwool?
Thank you for the reply after watching one of your videos, I realized I was completely starting my seeds wrong. The next batch, I am going to germinate and grow as you did. And then, put them into the hydro system, have you tried growing some larger in soil? And then transferring to hydro by cleaning the roots And inserting into hydro any luck with that
my first few grows were in soil, but I was having a hell of a time balancing the pH without over watering... switched to my current method and love it.
nice I'm working my way in got 2 spider farmer setups nothing fancy liw budget lol thank you appreciate the conversation
Just gave everyone a full water change and nutes... finally taking advantage of the 10 foot tent, and spread the girls out.
some leaves were showing signs of potassium deficiency, but with today's water change we should be fine. I'll monitor over the next few days.
I'm starting to get some amber tricombes, and this is a good thing... due to necessity, I will have to chop sometime Thursday. At that point I'll hang them in the tent to dry.
I would still give theme some time, because if I see correctly, you still have a lot of transparent trichromes. wait until they are very cloudy. then I would suggest to cut. my suggestion is definitely waiting 5 days more
I would love to, however I will have nobody here to tend them while I am on an unplanned trip. so, it's chop a bit early, or have them die of dehydration...
Very nice. Those are some small seeds for Acapulco Gold, where dis you get them?
Thanks, these are from Barney's Farm.
