Grow Timeline (25 updates)
Tonight will be 7 days in the domes
Roughly 14/16 clones this batch
No roots yet as of this morning
First attempt at cloning
No seed mat
Just peat cubes, clone hormones from technaflora, and seed starter trays.
Let's hope for roots over the next 5 days otherwise I may need to redo this π
Also fed water mixed with rooting gel the other day to encourage roots, idk if it works but hey why not try
0 roots from first batch so far
Took 9 new clones
Dude it takes soooo long for them to root especially if ya didnβt use any root hormone
Used technaflora root gel Uprooted on today and seen very very tiny roots forming So now it's just a matter of will they root b4 they die. π€£ Removed the dome completely
Have you cloned them before using the same method and size?
Negative. First attempt.
From my experience these clones are to large in length and have to much foliage on them. Iβll send ya a picture of my clone size. I just did my first batch as well and itβs taking forever
I thought they were on the small side tbh π
So overall 1st clone project was a learning lesson/failure.
1st several days had them on the floor of tent vs a shelf, cold floor=no roots
Fumbled and forgot lid was off for a couple hrs day 5 and they got sad and never bounced back except for a few possible ones and the 1 that is for sure showing roots. Haven't broken thru fabric yet but I peeled back the fabric layer while the Peet pellet was dry and saw a root popping out.
Going to take some advice and probably DIY a water cloner with the bubbles and hydro stuff π€£
No heat=no roots
Fumbling air out time=no roots=added stress if u get em
1/16 is terrible but I have 9 others I took so let's see what happens on that growπ

Will be taking more cuts to hone this prior to flip
So 2 is down to 1
I felt like trying something that is probably frowned upon but oh well.
Yanked out the sicker yellowed one
And plopped it in a cloner to see the roots grow.
Also with dwc growth is sped up so it may be able to outpace the other one, even though it's roots weren't as established.
With so many clones in the cloner this was a risk worth taking.
Photo attached is of the cloner with the yellowed lighter one being the one that is the experiment
Lovely and lonely clone, 2/16 took 1 went to experiments, 1 went to solo cup reliable growing method.
Will begin nutes soon and will be focusing on root development nutrition for the first few feedings to prime the root zone for a feeding.
No change.
Will be culling as I go
Day 3 in tent
Not use to the soil staying this wet. Use to roots this sucks nothing to do but wait, smoke, and watch the grass grow
You have no air flow in the grow space or aeration in ur pots and light is to low or to high
There's fans on the top of the tent and vent open on bottom of tent and top. Temp and humidity are in range as well. The pots have holes at the bottom, and 1 or 2 on the sides. They are fragile little cups and I broke 3 drilling holes and the sick looking one had root rot in a dwc the others are still rooting....hopefully π€£ the other one is node stacking just fine alrdy
Dissolved cloning powder into a bottle of water a d hit EVERYTHING with it
The healthy solo cup included.
Seen youtube videos of ppl doing this but it maybe bro science but hey I'm focusing on root health this run, as well as serious horizontal training.
Added seedmat for clones in future
I see why yall use em, they worked instantly on mine, I was doing everything right but winter was killing the root growth to a standstill and the day u put this up I woke up the next and had visible roots everywhere.
The solo cup is doing wonderful
The small planter cups are eh
Have fabric pots otw tomorrow
Transferring from coco loco solo cup to fabric ac infinity coco coir brick 1 gallon pot.
Wish me luck yall
10 clones in total look to be viable
Can go down to 5-8 anytime though still in ICU except the solo cup and 1 mystery and 1 motorbreath clone
11 survived total between 2 cloning attempts.
These are the dwc and Peet pellet as well as coco loco clones
Threw the kitchen sink at cloning π€£
Let's fucking grow these Lil fuckers into giant queens.
Ac infinity coco bricks and coco loco will be the medium in these clones.
Will feed tomorrow low ppms 400 just to start but the bigger ones will get like 600 ppms
7 clones
From the 4 OG ones I just chopped for those just checking in
Definitely not using fox farms ocean forest this run, maybe top dress with it a tad bit but I'm running coco coir and coco loco this run. Coco coir and fabric pots definitely see a difference already.
Gonna let em grow for a week or 3 train em then flip em and scrog em as they stretch.
I heat and drought stressed these to the max! They nearly died multiple times. I'm doing this to make them stronger and more resistant to high Temps, after 3 grows the plant adjusts to ur environment.
Putting a heat mat under the clone dome will help improve your cloning process. I use root riot plugs and CloneX gel, 18/6 lighting and a heat mat under the tray and can get clones ready to tranplant within 2 weeks. As long as the are still green and kind of perky they are still alive. If they start to fade use CloneX clone solution at 5ml/gallon to feed them
Yea took 9 more and ordering a heat mat by the time it gets here I either have roots and transplant, or I chuck all 16 of the ogs and try and save the 9 I cut today ND take more π
Can't flip to flower until I nail cloning atleast 1 from each strain to save genetics. Don't feel like paying 30$ a clone again
