if this is an auto i recommend starting it in final pots right away and not doing this. I've noticed a big difference already by doing this. not sure if it matters as much with photos
For autos yes, the less stress the better, but this is a photoperiod.. once she has some roots she’s going right into a 7 gal with some mykos won’t even shock the plant.

got ya i figured it was a photo if you were starting off this way but just wanted to be sure I've seen alot of people make that mistake their first time doing autos lol I've always started my photos the same way
she’s looking great ‼️💕
stil having overwatering symptoms.. haven’t been drowning the plant, waited 3 more days until mediums bone dry and gave it less water than usual hopefully it gets better
is the Ph of your water in between 6.2 and 6.8?
do u have any drainage holes in bottom ? I would add some holes then put another cup over & make sure u empty the sitting water .
yeah i have plenty of drainage holes in the solo cup, I think for now on i’m just gonna either start in my final pot or just start with a 1 gal.. I just kept upping the water little by little but probably should of stopped at around 50ml until I transplanted but i’m trying my best to fill my 2x2 with just one plant so

yeah i’ve been watering with 6.5 ph water.. it’s starting to come back slowly but surely but I’m not sure how I made that mistake when I track all my watering 🤦🏻♂️
i usually will just mist the base of the plant when I in early veg & I always go right to my final pot . . those jiffy pots make it really simple . u just put the whole pot into the final pot & cover it . no transplant shock . they make the jiffy pots a little bigger now.
yeah i’ve seen other growers use those which that just reminded me but yeah it would make things a lot easier at this stage since it’s so easy to overwater.. i’ve never given jiffy pucks a go i usually throw down some mykos and the plant never goes through any shock
I don’t use the pucks , what I use is the ones that look like a small pot made out of coconut husks . these are much simpler
Walmart even carries em
oh damn i’ve never seen those til now definitely gonna give those a try next run i appreciate it
u got it . they make life easier . I been growing for over 40 years & this saves u from transplant shock & wont delay the grow . I will add Extreme Mycho & Azos over the jiffy pot before I fill in the hole . like I said before they do make a bigger one now . that the one I prefer
she probably root bound .I mean it is probably time for a transplant for sure
yeah I have some new soil coming hoping that’ll fix my issue but I’m not sure if I can say if it’s root bound or not like the signs are there it’s starting to yellow a bit on the lower leaves and the soil is drying out faster but I don’t have any visible roots showing so hopefully throwing it in a bigger pot with some mykos throws it back into gear

also I just had this issue I was like why are my leaves fading you'll get that besides send her I. her forever home probably time anyway
She’s liking the bigger pot already it’s been less than 72 hrs since transplant with adding mykos directly to the root ball and haven’t experienced any shock. Hopefully by tmr or next week she’ll gain the color back and start exploding with growth again.
those look familiar I have a set like that luv the handles
Colors coming back to lower leaves, also still recovering from being root bound.. feel like it’s taking longer than usual. I also feel like being a month in she’s kinda small.. I’ll have to back and look at my last run to tell if she’s stunted a bit but hopefully once she’s fully recovered she’ll blow up in growth.
she'll bounce back
not a bad time for those sugar teas with compost if u have any or I would of pu micariza and humic acids down and around the roots both are great after a transplant u probably have all the stuff laying Around for a tea
Girls looking better today thinking about what kind of training I should do this time around.. Might even just trellis and no topping,
my last run I mainlined and topped once then scrogged which felt like a lot for me at the time and didn’t have the best yield.
you think silica making a difference? Just wondering if might get sum
I’ll have to see in the future, it’s my first time running it my last two grow had pretty thin stems didn’t really affect much other than late flower they kinda fell over but i’m interested to see if it helps with the root system as well when I transplant here soon
silca can also add strength to your plants as well to ward off pest and insects can also even help prevent viruses along the way.. I’ve just always seen dwc plants with the truck the size of a coke can and that’s insane to me. I just wanna get a couple grows under my belt to really have an idea how everything works and then I might try some dwc cause they grow almost 10x faster than photos

her canopy is looking very well and even.. still been hesitant to defoliate.. I now have it down as far what I should take off and should not.. felt like my last run i might of taken too much off and affected my yeild.. just for what’s covering lower bud sites i’ll make sure to cut off.
Was throughly surprised her root system was pretty big really didn’t need to upsize to a 5 gal since I’m just doing one plant i figured why not and see how big I can get her but she’s definitely gonna be pissed off for a bit lol
not even 24 hrs and this plant didn’t go through any shock.. i’ll be using mykos for now on whenever I go to transplant my first run I didn’t use it my plant looked so dead for about a week before it shot back up.. stuffs crazy
I love me some Mykos! I also add Kangaroots root drench and some molasses to feed the microbes.
I’m kinda in a pickle right now really have no idea what my plan of action is as of now this girl is getting so bushy on me I really can’t do a whole lot to spread it out i’ll definitely throw a net in later to hopefully get everything even but i think a much needed defoliation is needed but unsure of how much i should really take off
stand in front of her and look down. if you cannot see through it or the dirt on the pot, then you need to defoliate her good.
yeah i’ve been trying to just a little hard cause it’s almost like a jungle and most of its newer growth so rather not take away a bunch of fan leaves that might be needed but I was doing so well keeping the middle pretty open but i’m not sure what happened over 3 days 😂😂
good vibes bro.. She loving it
good vibes bro.. She loving it
good job
took off a lot of the lower leaves that won’t make it later down the road allowing some more airflow and light to get through seemed to even out the canopy and bring most the tops out.. took it like a champ too with no shock, I highly recommend people use silica i’ve noticed that i haven’t been destroyed yet by thrips the stems are very strong and the trunks getting fatter by the day.. also the main that i snapped recovered within a week and grew a knuckle over it probably got supercropped almost lol
i’m definitely surprised by how much this plants drinking i’m filling this 1 gallon reservoir every two days I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen during flower.. I think i’m in for a trip for sure lol but did a small 500ppm feeding last time seemed to help a lot but this time around i’m giving her a dose of recharge really interested to see how it all works out in the end. Still bending back branches to let everything spread out evenly.. taking a little longer than I anticipated but i’ll be patient for the time being cause i’m itching to put her into flower
you need to defoliate her some so her canopy can breathe
Did a pretty big defoliation to allow some more light penetration through also didn’t want it to get ahead of me as last time it was pretty worry some to get it back in shape for me lol but i focused on removing the lower fan leaves not sure if that’s the best case scenario as I know they’re vital to the plant as a solar panel but I did this last time and didn’t have any issues so.
pretty much lollipopped most of what I could and moved some more branches.. at this point I don’t have a square in the trellis that’s not being used up some even have 2 tops inside not sure if that’s going to be ideal but rather not take much growth off now as they’re pretty much getting light now
went around and took off skinny branches that weren’t making it up to the light and also pulled a bunch of lower growth that would turn into larf.. I always hate doing this as she looks so ugly afterwards but she’ll bounce back by tmr lol
I would of took more off ! it doesn't barely look like u trimmed it !
Trust me I know and it’s been a little hard trying to choose what to take off I’ve really been keeping it to stuff that’s being shaded and really underdeveloped growth.. I probably shouldn’t of topped this plant the amount of times that I did otherwise I probably wouldn’t be having this issue. I also was trying to weave some branches towards the end of the net meanwhile 75% of everything was already growing through so now the canopy isn’t as level as I wanted it to be but this is just all a learning experience as this only my second time growing so.

hey I'm with u bra my 2 nd grow too!! don't regret topping that many times I did too this plant healthy asf dude I do have a diploma in horticulture I'm not a ego dick head I share my strength experience hope !!! this thing will produce get some bud clips u know training clips s little stress when she's recovered will make it grow chances are you'll never get a Evan canopy that's very hard to do .idk I know this big roots equals big fruits order some plant magic it's a instant kelp tea great for recovery I fell in luv with this stuff this year it's organic won't burn nothing just full of valuable nutes try it out plant magic from Amazon I order all my stuff there great variety good luck she looks fine man honestly ! is this a auto ? she's ready for flower if it's not
Defoliated a bunch today took a couple more clones as well. Also added the second trellis and bent some more branches down to keep everything level.. really not sure how it’s going to play out as about 15-20% of the plant is kinda low compared to the rest of the plant but probably due to me not staying on top of weaving branches throughout the stretch period to ultimately spread it out.
Oo she thick 😆
Girls gonna be packing on some weight soon glad I added the second trellis for support.. we’ll really see if silica works as my last run had pretty thin stems and a thin trunk ended up having the fatter colas fall over but I don’t see that happening this time around
Did one final lollipop until day 49, pretty confident with the amount of space between the plant and colas now the waiting game begins!
dirty bong water lmfao 🤣 I’m following just cause the name lmfao GREAT PLANTS BTW it’s bushier then the 70s in there 😆
haha appreciate it😆 and should have some pretty fat colas in here soon 👀 this durban strain always puts out some chonkers lol

nice!!!! I’ll be following to see how it turns out for sure sounds tasty
Nice use of the space dude!
appreciate it! I’ve been super proud of myself getting it the way I wanted to this trumps my first grow by a 110%
thought I’d make it to day 49 to do this but probably didn’t do as good as a job on day 21 but she’s still stretching til this day 😂 but freed up some space and light penetration really trying to get them chonkers growing 😈
lookin good 💯
took a nice chunk of fan leave on the lower half and some covering some bud sights also took a lot of what would also turn into larf to hopefully send all that energy towards the top. Was going to wait til day 49 but what’s really the benefit anyways but probably won’t touch it anymore for the rest of the grow hoping it stops using energy on making more fan leaves. Also probably should cut back on nutes just a tad bit staring to see a tiny bit of tip burn but nothing to freak out about.
everyone gets a little tip burn !! they look great honestly.id trim more but that's me
trying out a 13/11 schedule to see if I notice anything different from my last harvest.. supposedly can add extra weight and make buds more dense, we’ll really get to see how much 100w can do and see if I need to upgrade later cause my last harvest had some fluffy airy buds. Other than that she’s been fine it’s just been a waiting game a this point and have lots of ways to go hoping to chop in november
she’s starting to gain some mass definitely will see some changes within the next couple of weeks.. just need to tone down the N as it looks like the fan leaves are getting dark green and also some tips are pointing down, probably just going to do a solid PH water next as I haven’t done that for the entire grow.
she looks beautiful
still chugging water and throwing pistils hopefully it doesn’t end up harming on me late in flower like last time.. just watching them get fatter and fatter by the day and seems like pistils are retracting and turning brown so we should be in the window in the next couple of weeks.
Girls taking foreveverrrr to finish, seems like it might be the last wave of new pistils as I haven’t seen much pop out recently so hopefully we got just around a week or so.. top buds seem pretty finished might even have too much amber but was able to bring out some purples from having my night temps around 69-70
Im surprised at no leaf fading, looks green as f$&@“. Buds look foxtailed could be wrong.
yeah.. I mentioned that in my earlier post, I think I was hitting her with too much N and CaLMag causing those dark green leaves and also some curling.. I’ve sinced lowered the ppms to around 800 but really haven’t seen any difference so just gonna ride it out
Some might bash for chopping while having some pistils but checking the trichs was pretty much what I was looking for with a sativa high..top buds have plenty of amber and probably too much lol but everything else was cloudy and had a good mix of ambers. Hoping to keep the conditions good low temps of 70-73 and RH of 65% gonna try and implement some better ways to dry while I still have time.
sativa, especially haze strain, is know for its pistils to still be white at harvest time. totally normal
ended up with 4oz under a 100w light i’ll call that a win win for me wish I had something stronger just would made all the lower buds get more light as I got a bit of larf but no biggie my bong doesn’t discriminate lol
were you able to train her that would make a big difference moving branches to get light where lights not getting
yeah if you look back on my earlier post i scrogged her until i filled the nets in my 2x2 wall to wall but i don’t know how people keep all their colas at the same length that’s what kinda got me as well and this strain grows fan leaves like a hydra so some stuff got shaded when it shouldn’t of unfortunately but im not complaining!
training is bending but not too hard or too much to get the top colas to come down to the rest to the branches height or lower to trick plant into thinking the other branches are the top colas in the end you should be left with an even canopy if done right
It takes a good amount of grow ties and steady training in veg to build a structure that keeps the canopy nice and even. The whole idea is to guide the plant’s auxins so they spread out equally to each top. If one branch sits a little higher, it’ll hog more auxins and bulk up faster. Keeping everything level helps those auxins and the weight spread out nicely across the whole plant.
I say your canopy looked great for the grow area and the buds look amazing!
sooo pretty
