Grow Timeline (49 updates)
after so many trial, error and confusion, i finally got my first seedling that sprouted and i can actually see itβs a cannabis seed, the tip of seedlings leaves are a bit tan idk if thatβs a good sign but i barley planted her like a couple days ago so give me any tips !
having my humidity at 70-80, itβs looking alot healthier
training em young. very nice
im new to this. so you don't have to wait to start lst
not really training them as soon as they grow can be more beneficial to them by helping them grow more stonger increase more yields and reduces disease risk and anyone can do it and beginner friendly, itβs really low risk so your not really damaging nothing more or less helping itππ½what i use is rubber plant ties instead of the thin ones because the thin ones can cut through the stem over time.
thank you man i appreciate it, my first indoor grow so hopefully it turns out good !
thanks good to know
sprinkled a bit of mykos
I've had fantastic luck running my nutrients the entire time. but idk I've done this a couple times outdoors. there extremely tough plants if you don't make them drink too much at any one given moment
I recommend using recharge to kick start the microbiology in the soil.
Performed actiontype.watering
topped with 284 on 12/3 and they had a molasses tea today
If u broke branch & still attached u can wrap it up with tape . Donβt wrap it to tight & keep it from getting moisture inside . I like to use prune sealer & wrap it . Could get infected if water gets in the wound area
thanks for the heads up iβll lightly loosen it when i get back home, this is a learning experience i just was bending it too fast i think so that happened, hopefully it grows healthy and stronger and if not then i will know for next time
Shit happens , I donβt know how many times I broken branches & still will once in awhile . Good trick for low stress training is to use the clips that bend branches & exposing more light & opens canopy . Plant branches will knuckle & plant send signal to fix branch & strengthening branches & improve yield ,improve light into canopy & 90 degree clips cheap on Amazon & u get bunch . I always manipulate each branch by cracking it & redirecting auxins . Clips save u time , instead of. Cracking each branch & less stress
raised light intensity to 50%
only watered with plain water for now
humidity is 60%
rather give it a bit of water then overwatering
Look like you got some lil Cal/Mag problems
Have you done a full run with those spider farmer sensors yet? I have a small 2.7x2.7 tent and my 1 plant is getting too big. Idk where the fuck to put my sensor without it blocking bud sites or just being inaccurate from being off to the side of the tent and not at the middle of the canopy. Any helpful tips?
Hang from rope? sound like your best bet. never used em so idk what they are for or nada but it looks like I'd work jus disconnect that pipe
Thought about hanging it because that's the way the others were designed. I just have so many bud sites I don't wanna block anything. I'll try it out and see. Thanks!
Np an looks like that what u gona have todo. An if it has to stay steady use thick wire to hang
i have a 4x4x6 so i think these plants will be big enough for it since im doing scrog training, try training your plant or topping it when its young so you can grow wider and not taller itβll still stretch tall eventually, ill see how this harvest will turn out with this spider farmer equipment if not ill end up mixing it with another brand to help me
look at my last post and youβll see my sensors just hanging there about canopy
looks like you have too much nitro buddy
That's not the same kind of sensor I have.
I guess you didn't look at my grow before you wrote this.. I've done extensive training. And I'm running an auto, so topping is a big no no.
we actually do have the same sensors and controllers lol. you just donβt have the mount bracket for it.
Dude, I have eyes. Those are not the same sensors. They do read the same things, yes. But it is designed to be hung completely differently. It's a different model. The sensor you have would be no problem to hang without blocking budsites on my plant. However, the style I have I can't do that. I appreciate you trying to help.
have you looked into the ac infinity sensor ? itβs not in the middle but itβll give you an accurate reading
i only fed once with 284 gaia green, so idk how itβll be too much
Not compatible with my setup
itβs obviously not bothering her too much. you can see the difference in the green on the fan leaves. she will soak it all up and be hungry for more before too long. It takes awhile for the organic amendments to break down and become avalible to the plant. I let my soil cook and settle out for a month or two before I start plants in that soil so itβs not too hot.
so u donβt feed your plants for about a month then start adding nutrients ? because i let my soil cook for about 3 weeks an i just added a couple teaspoons of 284
iβm not really feeding them as much because i donβt want to burn them, but im starting little by little so my plants donβt cause nutrient lock
If itβs new soil yes I let them go 30 days before feeding. I always feed on the lower side too. can always add more if needed.
js raise my light intensity last night to 55%
getting my dehumidifier so i can keep a constant low humidity
defoliated and watered
Yes, balls, i always cut these branches, but most of time is plant wasted...
Sucks sorry buddy it's hard not to stress n herm bag seeds trust me if it was jus a headsup
two of my plants ended up being hermied should i just take them both out
Send me a pic of nodes on other one
But if as bad as first one in picture get rid of it
But if as bad as first one in picture get rid of it
Asap an take out the tent to cut
Performed actiontype.watering
no nutes
no training
just letting it stretch and bloom
fed 2 tbsp 284 and 1 tbsp 444
topdressed with worm castings
watered until pot feels heavy not runoff nomore
(edit: raised my light intensity to 65% for tonight)
watered until 58% WC
light defoliating for the inner nodes
(edit 1/7/26: raised my light intensity to 70% 670 mols- fed with 284 and 444, topped it off with 500ml of water.
fed with 4 tbsp of 284- 2 tsp of mendocino honey- and 1/2 cup of worm castings to top dress with gaia green. watered until slight run off
wc 70% only this time because the sensor was in a dry spot, overwatered a bit on accident
soil ec 1.41 dropping it to 0.9
Why no defoliation at all?
i defoliated a bit for the inner nodes to get more light after this vid, i kept most fan leaves, cuz my feeding before my last one i underfed so iβm keeping most leaves to feed my plant and just letting it naturally fade, other than that iβm not tryna strip much off this plant to stress it even more
Right I don't blame ya. Kinda figured you didn't Wana stress it
harvest complete, not too happy about it but it was my first run and it made it all the way through π€π½
Looks like soil was way to compact?!?
iβm pretty sure tbh but itβs there downsides to that ?
i js edited it with a new video with the soil
Yes it'll stop the plant from fully developing because it gets rootbound
even in fabric pots ?
If the roots can't get thru the soil then yes. An on this one you harvested a little to early from what I can tell in pictures of triks they still mostly clear. You want all cloudy an 10 to 20 percent amber for really stoning smoke. No worries tho it's your first always room for improvement even if your pretty much "pro" they can even learn new stuff with growing that's why I grow. Always sum new. Even the people that study this plant still don't know everything about it.
ditto I had a breakthrough as well although mine lost one leaf with the shell on day one so I'm expecting a slightly smaller girl
