One twilight princess seed germinated. The other died
I don't think your one leaf wanted to be normal
I know it's looked like that since it grew
any others like that?
It's just the first node on that plant

What is the white stuff on the leaves? Looks like mildew?
Earth diamacoious pretty sure. It's whatever he threw on top
It's diamaceous earth I think I saw a small bug but it might have been coco coir flying around so I figured I'd be safe
No water or nutes. Did my first pruning after
Whatβs the powdery white stuff? Is it mildew or something you put on there?
Diamaceous earth. I thought I saw a fly but I wasn't positive so I wanted to be safe
Ah okay makes sense! Iβve never dealt with mildew, nor seen anything that looks like it so I wanted to know what I was looking at there! Thanks a bunch for being nice about me being ignorant! edit: also I didnβt know that was a fly repellent so Iβllbe looking into it for sure come spring!
It's good for bugs that make their home in the soil. If I remember right it's microscopic form is needles and it hurts the bugs. And dw about ignorance were all here to learn. I hope u don't have to deal with PM one of my last grows got it so I ended up having to trash it all and sanitize the tent with bleach right before this grow
It actually sucks all moisture from the bug and they die. Great natural deterant for above ground adult bugs. Nematodes live in the soil and eat the other harmful bugs larva, before they eat your roots and become adults to emerge.
Can I ask, why did you cut off all the foliage?
Thanks for the correction. Either way it's just a precaution
I'm trying my hand at mainlining. After new growth starts at the topping site your meant to remove what you can below the node you cut it at to prevent it from growing lower branches and forcing the energy towards only the colas. Going to do either 8 or 16 colas per plant depending on how much space it takes up after I get to 8. I know their looking a little bare right now but their honestly doing well. I'm just pissed I accidentally cut a leaf on the 3rd node when I was topping one plant so I don't think that one's going to split into 2. That one gets to wait until it fleshes out more before I try to mainline it again. It'll probably end in less colas than the others
Right on. DTE is my favorite natural deterant. Thanks for the insight, idk about mainlining at all. I run autos so im trying to perfect Lst.
I've run autos before but I like the control of photos. Do you think theoretically over a year id yeild more if I ran autos instead of photos? And should I just not top them at all if their autos or can I make 2 colas
Absolutely do not top autos. They can't recover from the stress since they are on a set schedule. Lst is the way to get multiple colds on autos. I have well over 20 bud sites on my canopy right now. All training. And as far as switching over with yields, that's all dependant on what you want personally I think. If I were doing multiple big plants I'd probably go with photos. If I were able to push them lb producers I would for sure. But with my limited space I don't have that option. So I honestly don't know buddy. I've thought about building a small lung room in my outdoor garage and putting a photo or 2 in. But that's an expensive project for the future.
Colas, not colds

Should I increase the feeding on these guys? The bottle reccomends 3ml per L for seedling growth and 5ml per L for veg growth. Should I move from 3 to 5? Are there any deffociencies or toxicities? Also worth noting that I was trying to seperate the 2 main stems on one plant after the topping and it ended up partially breaking so I needed to tape it back together
Up to ya but I wouldn't untill they start looking a lighter green or a deficiency starts showing ninja
Thanks bro I'll keep it how it is for now then
I wouldn't mess with the growth untill they start to take off

It looks to me like there might be some N toxicity. Should I lower my 2-0-0 plantacillin for a few days
Performed actiontype.ph
Does it look like any of these plants have N toxicity?
Just curious but why is your EC 2.7. My tester always reads 0000(0570) was my last measurement
I don't know I just got a new tester haven't measured ec before

Had some ph issues with the little guy but he's making a recovery. Is it defol time for some of the bushier plants or should I leave it till I'm done mainlining

Time to flip to flower in 1-2 weeks
Why a trellis if flipping so soon? Legit curious. I'm trying to fill my tent when I use one tbh
I'm using it to train for mainlining rather than using ties. I find I have better luck not snapping any stems doing this but I've def still broken a few. I am planning to raise the trellis as they grow and grow out a nice canopy

Nice. Have u tried pinching for and twisting? That combined with stakes/zip ties works for me to anchor them down. Can't wait to see ur end result brother

You might be feeding a little too much nitrogen and she could use some magnesium. She is a little dense and really squat, which is good in some ways bad in others. What lights are you running? Can you raise them up or turn them down a little? if you can and she may stretch on you a little more. Have you ever checked your ppfd or dli?
Ya I have my ppfd logged for almost every day if you check my profile. I posted it to Reddit too and it seems my issue was not ever watering till runoff so too much N built up over time. I have 2 old fat mars hydro lights ones the regular like small size I'd say a foot x a foot at a max. Then the other mars hydro light is the double long. I don't know their model numbers as I got them second hand. I also have a spider farmer s1000. Yes I can raise the lights more

When should I change it from veg to flower? Today the day the lights are changed or when buds start showing
When u switch to 12/12 it is day 1 of flower

Any advice on the auto is appreciated. It's been getting the same feeding as my photos every 3 days so same schedule. Photos are right after lollipopping
Whoops you gave it way to much nutrients and you gave her nutrients before tou even transplanted no good sir
Time to kill it and restart? I'm already giving half the reccomended dose with just water until at least the 2nd node
Never go half does especially with an auto, you wanna start out with a quarter dose for the first 2 or 3 feedings. And then, slowly gradually bring it in with an auto at most, you might need 3/4.\n Of a dose.\n At Max. And when you're doing an auto planted straight into its final pot, it is very bad to transplant them.U can stump them to the point where they will grow but not produce Bud.If you go on my page, you will see what my autos look like right now.I have one photo which is the big one and two small autos that are eighteen days and eleven days old
Thank you for the advice man. Do you think it's time to just kill this one off and restart? And what size pot do u use for an auto? I already popped a new seed (tricross by Atlas) so if the current auto survives I doubt I'd have room for both of them if I'm using my regular 5 gallon fabric pots that my photos are in
I recommend starting off with a 5/7 gallon fabric pot, but you can do the cup method and pour in dirt 3/4 of the way put your solo cup in there, fill the rest of the way with the dirt, pull it up and then fill that hole with soil for your seedlings so it doesn't kill them and then go from there and if you want, you can try to save it, you know, you never know you're taking a fifty-fifty chance it can end app growing some of the best Bud you've ever seen, or tasted, or it's not going to produce absolutely nothing, that's up to you. One put that time and then to take that gamble, and if you need your advice hit me up direct message. And I'll help you

Plants are a little under watered as I had some friends taking care of them for a while. Going to be taking a bit for them to bounce back. If there's anything else wrong you notice please lmk
Will plant #1 even survive or should I just chop it? Any advice on the nute deficiencies/problems of the other 2. Got dying and yellowing leaves
Fed again today
It needs some cal mag more than likely people forgot they need cal mag itβs surprising so many donβt include it . They suck cal mag like crazy in bud especially week 4 5 6 7 of flower usseally need cal mag .
Thanks. If their already getting 10ml over 12L what should I increase the dose to? And I assume that means it's not dead yet or at least not too far gone to recover from
over feeding/watering plus lil to early on nutes.
Donβt feed seedlings any nutrients, especially if using soil that has nutrients in it . What soil u using ? If u do need to feed them use 1/8 strength of bottle says . Companies want u to use more so u buy more . Make sure ph is in range.
I'm using coco coir. Only used watering until the 3rd node started to develop then using 1/4 strength nutes with some kelp mixed in
It's in coco coir which doesn't have any nutrients itself so I do need to feed them a little bit. Making sure to keep how much I use under the reccomended ammount for seedlings
I see ah okay myb
Ur good man anything else and you'd be dead on. First time I tried to grow I fried the fuck out of some auto seedlings and each plant yielded like .1g
lol I've never grown autos but that sounds about what id do with themπ€£
I don't grow autos anymore. I like choosing how big my photos get and when they go into flower. But I just got a bunch of auto seeds so I'm curious if their even worth growing
they are if you know how to run em. plus you get more harvests a year. I jus can't be bothered to keep buying auto seeds so never stepped over
Do you breed your own seeds then? I've always been interested in doing something like that
if these are autos be careful on stunning them cause they gona go into budding
Their photos
over the years I've done that or jus get seeds Offa friends around the area. it's a pain to go they male/females/hermis but I think that's the fun init. plus if male really nice find a spot let him go
