got a few looking nice so far, cant wait to get down to just 8 so far so good, unfortunately might be trashing a few, got a couple of friends who might take one or two, was going sex early as someone mentioned mentioned but decided to just go with the flow, maybe after I get a few indoor grows under my belt might be worth a try. Either way im feeling good about how everything is coming along, even made some bubble hash last night out of some of my outdoor grow. first time doing that as well, learning as I go, I never would of thought this could ever be possible 25-30 years ago. legalization has done wonders for the plant, now if we're could just convince the federal government to do something we'd be even better!!
everything looking good so far, 23 day in for #1-5, 17 days 6-9, and one only a couple weeks in popped late. Got a few seeds out of my outdoor grow, had to plant one to compare the dif between indoor and outdoor. She's got pink stigmas too so a very pretty lady during flower too.
happy so far, probably get rid of 1-3 more soon, get down to 8 total still a lot , six would be optimal, but will be more confident next grow with fewer plants, kinda went overboard just to make sure I had good plants and not knowing much about the seeds i have other than I got them from bags I got throughout the year, plus some from my outdoor grow last year. so far I planted 25, 24 popped, which shocked me was expecting maybe 15-20 since they were bag seeds, and I usually have ok luck with the female to male ratio but still doesn't hurt to 🤞🤞🙏🙏, let's go ladys!!

Yes but maybe a herm...second look it is a hermi so itll have both seeds an smokes

Yeah, I started with 24, then got rid of some that I just did like the way they looked as I need space as they grew, got down to 11 before I stared 12/12 6 were dudes/hermi so I got 5, wanted 8 but 5 will fit better anyway, just wanted a little more variety, but I'll take 5 different strains if I have to i guess! Lol , I still have 2 i took out a while ago, dont know what they are yet been playing bonsi with them so there quite a bit smaller then everything else in the tent.
Awhile ago I had 15 diff kinds then went To 9 females then went to 6 full females other 3 were hermi or I made them herm
But hey atleast you got sum could of been all males
You never really know, im just glad I planted as many as I did or id be at square one again, Without not even a little bit and a bunch of wasted nutrients and time. Still lots of wasted nutrients and time. But fuck it first grow indoors take what I can get, only thing that really sucks ass is three of the 7 or eight I lost were looking so f n good too, had them all trimmed out great then big👊 right in the 🫒
Anyone ever seen this happen before some kind of genetic mutation or something, found quite a few leaves on one plant like this, 10 fans, one extra going up in the middle even has a stem to connect it, found about 10 leaves like this. Kinda cool looking but dont know if this is some sign of something or not.
It is just another blade that grow after the fan was established
I’d throw the light schedule to 12-12 until they show sex may take up to 3-4 weeks being this early but you’ll be able to weed out the males after they show sex then revert back to veg with a 18-6 light schedule
will this hurt any of the process? i have two seedlings from disp bag seed, i didnt know you could do it so early, but i didnt realize you could flip back, i would’ve thought that might make it hermaphroditic . i know nothing lol that’s why im asking
It might make it hermi due to stress and strain type but this is the way I sext plants and don’t have an issue other than it takes a little longer due to the reverting and the goofy leaves for a bit. Another option is to grow them for a few weeks flip to flower then clone the girls after about 2-3 weeks into flower. Which is what I did with the Kush Mints

thanks, I might have to give that a try, I only need 8 plants and popped about 25 seeds, I want a nice variety of smoke, after getting my females ill probably clone form here on out, just getting a good base started. the outdoor crop is grew last year was a clone from a budding plant, took some time to get it to reveg, kept it in veg for about a year, but I unfortunately let that mother die this summer. I dont think I'll ever learn everything there is to know about growing herb but damn am I trying..lol been online researching for the past year at least 20 hour a week. goona pass this class with an a+++ 🤞🤞💪🔥
how many sets of leaves should it have before I attempt this?
Hell yeah man! Here soon you’ll be growing fire no doubt 🔥🔥🔥 Just takes a couple trials and errors to perfect it and some time to dial everything in.
Technically you can start from seed but really the plant won’t show its sex until it’s vegged for a couple weeks
thanks man, I appreciate tips, really helps people learn new tricks of trade so we can all be experts. I have a buddy of mine (and sure we all know someone like this) that won't share any of his secrets to success, like I understand back in the day before it was fucking legal, people had to have the best to kept the best clientele. But shit im not and most people these day aren't selling it they just got tired of all the bs that comes with dealers + only paying for cost of goods is a plus all day. Man that just sounds like straight up selfishness. I grow for the love of the plant for my own stash and for the homies who can’t afford it but still need that good medicine. To me it’s all about sharing the wealth and the wisdom. We’re talking about growing your own medicine here might as well make some top shelf healing smoke and get the most out of your time and cash.😚💨
