Grow Timeline (9 updates)

3 out of the initial 4 I originally have planted have made it to the seedlings stage. Simple spray every other day, just enough to keep the medium wet. No water in the bottom of the starter pots. I have planted another 12 seeds that were close to germinating in the starter planter. I have about 16 more seeds in hand so I am going to try the solo cup route with those. I am in need of a light, heater pad, and eventually just the entire booth setup. Right now this grow is taking place in a camper bathroom with 2 strip led's and a fan on low. Temperature is my biggest worry with it getting cold over the weekend.

4/6/2025-Got a great deal on the grow tent and the light for $200 then moved plants into there. Transplanted to 1 gal pots and watered. Accidentally set light to vegetative stage. Light and fan were set on 80%.
4/10/2025-Adjusted fan and light back to seedling recipe which is 60%. Light cycle is 18 hours on, 8 hours off both simulate sunrise/sunset. Added a cup of water to the tent to help with humidity. Watered. Need the vent and the humidifier to complete the tent.
congrats on the purchase!!! I love getting new lights! what did you get? is that a typo for 18 on and 8 off?
Noticed little stems coming from I terior of leaves. Hoping these are female but I'm not sure if that is what this is or not. overall plants are doing great. light is all the way up to the top of the tent. still in seedling recipe. I'm not sure when I should change over to vegetative recipe.
once she has grown her first true set of leaves is when I start feeding grow solution
and light I keep at about 18-20" above canopy about 80%
you should be able to tell sex of it by week 3 ish of veg
males will developed pollen sacs not flower
Fox farm ocean frost was dry out of the bag. 1.5 bag was enough to transplant 4 plants from one gallon to 5 gallon pots including the remaining Riverview living soils HP media the babies were already planted in. Dues to the transplant process and fresh watering, the humidity reached 98 percent. Opened the tent as well as a vent to lower humidity. Was at 93 when I closed it back up. I will check in the morning.
Questions I have:
1. I have not fed the babies any food yet. I need an affordable (really affordable) option for the veg stage and the the flowing stage as well as some guidance on a schedule for both.
2. I will be getting a trellace and will be training the branches instead of topping. is there a benefit from one to the other or are both necessary?
3. At what point should I move over from veg to flower?
1. I use Jack's, I don't know how affordable it is as I bought a 25lb bag years ago and only use 3g/gal. I do find it easy to use. if you just transplanted they probably won't need food for a few weeks 2. topping breaks apical dominance stopping it from growing like an Xmas tree and will promote lateral branching. name of the game indoors is even canopy. light penetration sucks inside. you want as many flower sites at the same height across your grow space. you get that by training the branch to grow across not up. 3. that is up to you. you can flip now to 12/12 and it'll flower as soon as it hits maturity. or you can veg for a while and get the plant massive. if I were in your shoes, I'd top and train then flip when it is a little bigger and much more sprawled out. unless it's an auto and then it'll flower when you look at it wrong ππ
reefertilizer grow &bloom are cheep good quality nutrients, I baught mine on Amazon
can't tell if I'm ready to harvest or not if anybody can give me a quick note or suggestion please let me know I feel personally they're ready to go but I just want to be sure before I clip them
Check the tricomes if theyβre 10%-30% amber they are ready. I recommend doing a 2 week flush before harvesting

when I see something sticking out I'll plant it. some say tail up and it'll shed the seed husk easier, I've never found much difference. I just drop it in the hole
Thank you!
Congratulations on the babies popping! π€©
I usually plant the second I see it start germinating if I donβt start directly.
I just wait til the white tail is showing then plant it
plant it with the tap root facing upward. it'll be fine
