There’s still some white hairs so she’s still trying to pack on weight is give it atleast another week
thank you! definitely still a lot of white so I’m patiently waiting for a small percentage of amber but I think you’re right and I’m just going to keep staring 😂
Hold the line... ~2-3 more weeks You'll be looking for at least a little amber amongst the trichs. The patience will pay off in a better high and higher yeilds. Ideally senescense will also set in.
yeah usually if your pistils aren’t all orange/brown then it hasn’t matured fully, those won’t mature once cut. like stash said, look for the amber trichomes within the cloudy ones if you still have clear then you still have maturing to do.
Thank you so much. I’ve debated on waiting for the Trichom to turn Amber, but I’ve been afraid of losing THC content. I will continue to wait and watch patiently lol

you really want mostly cloudy trichs with like 20-30% being amber, no clear, how much amber is up to you and your preference but i’ve read that it’s better for sativas to amber more to get the body feel, but mostly people stick between 10-20% i believe.
OOOOOF id be struggling ngl. probably depends if you want more THC cuz at the tail you get more CBD in too. I lean more THC but tjat looks about a week out for peak roughly id think. but im not an EXPERT just gifted with a green thumb and lots of growing research to add
that is my struggle. trying to focus on the buds and once pistols are fully white to red I’d be happy. amber trichomes have been said to lend a more couch lock feel and lower THC and I’m not here for that lol!
yeah man I feel you i hate couch lock. having ADHD i avoid Sativa more too. its hilarious cuz im like I don't want Sativa i don't like feeling worn down and they're like "oh Sativa doesn't do that" it does if you have ADHD sativa is great for a nap lmao

not wanting to cross into amber trichomes,but the white pistols seem to stay. dense sticky buds but just not sure why it’s growth is so stretched. there was late growth as well.

ok so lot of strains will still try to push out more and more white pistols sometimes that can’t be healed when the plant keeps doing that doesn’t mean it’s not ready for harvest u just have to check the trics hairs really don’t mean nothing
also try turning the light intensity down some and put light a bit closer to the plant it’s trying to reach for the light

due to having some smaller new growth buds lower I finally cut the more complete parts for drying while still running lights etc for the unfinished new growth . crossing fingers the rest of the plants will produce after heavy cutting? experimenting I guess!
i had did a partial harvest on a quick one autoflower and it worked out fine, the tops were complete with cloudy and amber trichs but the bottom still had white hairs and clear trichs so i did a staggered harvest.. i let the bottom go another week or so before i harvested that and all turned out good. 🤞 good luck

what is the oriole light for?
not sure what an oriole light is. still very new. using LED grow lights one on each side all the way up . bottom was getting so close I shut them off and am running four above it in 12 inch increments.
