Grow Timeline (16 updates)
Shes taking off now. Light up to 90%. Only water out of the fishtank, no nutrients added aside from what was placed under the neutral soil before planting.
Wow your far ahead I started mine two days after you with the same thing 10ogs
How's it looking now? Mines really taking off fast now.
still in seeding and rooting
I cranked my light to 100% as soon as I had my first full set of fan leaves. I do water mine using only aquarium water so I like to pretend thats my secret sometimes lol
Terrible at posting when im actually doing stuff the the girl. Ive topped it about 6 or 8 times. Probably going to let her recover for another week before flipping into flower.
nice to see how long is the transition from growth to start of flowering, a week I think I have some experience with this
Its been a long veg trying to get this lady to fill up the whole 3x3. Just did a final preflower trim, will give her a day to recover, then flip to flower tomorrow. So far this girl has taken all of my topping, trimming, and training showing no signs of topping.
long vehs shows big results on the back end.. It's all about the patience
Only a few days into flower and this girl is starting to fill up this 3x3. Currently watering about 5 gallons a week into the grow bed.
looks outstanding man... ill be keeping a eye out for sure, i wiuld love to get a grow bed started, i still on the learning curve with living soil
Thanks! Ive been absolutely loving this grow so far. This girl responds extremely well to aggressive training. Like 10/10 shrugs it off like nothing. I cant wait to run another seed come 2026!
Feed the soil not the plants..!!!!!!
The soil is very well fed lol. All organic living soil.
Living soil is super easy. Its all about doing the 'hard work' first. Which is just really making sure you have a good balance of ingredients. Neutral soil, worm castings, compost, perlite, dry amendments. I also have live red wigglers living in my soil and put fresh compost in for them to eat.
This gal absolutely does not care what you do to her. Massive trim 3 days ago and already exploding growth again.

thanks!
Just a little update before her last major defol coming this weekend. Im already getting so many sugar leaves, this is gonna be a sticky haircut. But im super happy with the node spacing. Hoping to get many full tops!
Your garden is top tier man!! Ii always feel like i take to much when i defoliage.. i have been taken alot less this go around, and have done minimal training thus far to see the difference in my grows. Looking forward to your techniques and hopefully learn something new
fish tank water? any nutes?
I don’t believe they need nutrients at that age. I would just water only (not fish) maybe some cal mag. but way to early for feeding. It looks like too much water. I only use a spray mister to water. just my suggestion
No nutes just yet. There is 4-4-4 organic nutes under the neutral soil though. The nitrogen in the fish tank water should be super minimal.
Aside from the fish tank water, which shouldn't contain a burning amount of nitrogen, i haven't fed any nutes yet.
sounds like you have it under control, good luck with your grow.
Thanks! Still learning and only my second grow in the 3x3 grow bed. First grow of Strawberry Starburst went great, but now that my soil has matured, ive notice a lot more bugs and microbiology alive and moving in it. Curious and slightly scared of how it will affect my plants. Might send a sample in.
