Grow Timeline (3 updates)
I notice my leaves aren’t as vibrant or I’m noticing some leaves getting very dark and canoeing as you will. This is my very first grow ever any help would be awesome thanks in advance
I used like a half a teasooon of cal mag along with half a teaspoon of grow big but I think where I’m messing up is my understanding of watering until runoff
I would just give ph balanced water for the next two feedings. Just to flush out any residual salts. They really don't look too bad. I'm no pro, but I believe the yellowing in the veins is an indicator of low nitrogen.
Hey bro thanks I appreciate it. I’ve learned doing this grow that you can never learn enough when it comes to growing. But finding what works best for you and your environment and I like to take in advice and use what I think fits to my specific grow. And I’ve asked a few different people and there all saying what your saying it looks like a lil nitrogen problem so thanks again brother thats what I’m going to do is my next water just give it ph balanced water
I'm still learning too, hopefully it helps. There are a lot of experienced growers on this app. Everyone is more than willing to help out. Good Luck
Might be a lil nitrogen toxicity/too much nitrogen. Like someone else said water with plain PHd water to 5.8-6.3 range for next 2 waterings. If its a photoperiod I usually do water, water, feed anyway. Autos i do water, feed with slightly lower amount of nutes overall (although some are hungry and I give full feeding doses same as a photoperiod). maybe lower your Grow Big dosage by 1/4 amount or so. if its transitioning to flower its time to cut back on it anyways
Canoeing (maybe even a little shinny) could be heat to high or light to close and dark leaves to much nutrients or salt build up what the nutrient toxicity it looks like your growing soil so you could do a flush for for two feedings with ph balanced water and the soil feed them if they start to get better the start your nute back at 25% of recommended dose then after two feeding move up to 50% and so. A common mistake when starting out with fertilizer is to give the maximum recommended dose i prefer to ease into like I mentioned above esp. when growing in soil with the mix I use I don’t start fert. For 3 to 4 weeks but ppl differ with it but that’s the way I started mine
Exactly I research and watch stuff take away what I like and try it on my next grows. It’s all about learning and growing and if you make to be a master grower you’ll still learn something new on every grow lol
It’s a great community lots of ppl here are knowledgeable and helpful if you need anything just throw up a post it’s like putting up a bat signal lol
But really I would do the flush but for really over all these don’t look bad. They actually look good
I'm on my second grow and got the same thing, mine are getting more UV rays than they need though, depending on how sunny and hot your area gets if your doing an outdoor grow like me id recommend a 30% shade-netting, it basically blocks some of the UV rays and protects them fom some of the intense summer heat too
Yeah so I just flipped to flower and I’m growing indoors I’m finding it ALOT easier to stay within the range as far as RH and temp bc I’m in Louisiana it’s humid as shit over here but I think I’ll be ok I’m hoping so anyway. But what I ultimately ended up doing was lifting my light up about 4 inches and I turned it down a little as well and she’s looking beautiful
Looking healthy!
Thank you
