So excited and nervous; the ladies are in the RDWC!!!! Hoping for a nice Veg.
It took forever to build this RDWC! However, I got exactly what I want. Every bucket is modular can be removed from the system and it will still work.
75 gallon total system with 8 gallon grow sites.
Two 1056 water pumps. one for the bucket feed and one for the chiller. Also a third pump in the res (small) for mixing purposes.
1” feed lines to the grow sites and 2” drains.
all buckets wrapped in Reflectix for insulation. also hoping it give a little more PPFD to the under canopy.

all the girls are recovering from the third top. 8 mains per plant and one more topping to go for 16! Really hope to be flowering in the next 3 weeks!
I broke a branch on stitch… my best performer… She is however recovering nicely after getting super glued.
my Mac’s are ready to grow to the next net, but the Oreoz are lagging. they are growing so bulky and stout, they are trying to kill themselves daily. I finally chose to strip them down pretty bare to open them up for some stretch.
I stripped cream way more than cookie. basically to only one node only. no sides or side leaves. I did them different just to see the different reactions in the strain. fingers crossed they start producing in the next few days…
I think I am going to start the flip Monday (11/10). This Thursday (11-6) I will take my clones and do one last defoliation. this gives the girls the weekend before the flip to go in stress free! at least that’s the hope!

last day of veg then flipping off the lights for 24 hours. When they come back on, the flowering starts!!!!!!

Oreoz is really crushing it in the stretch. I don’t want to get to excited, but the way stretch is going, I might end up with a nearly flat canopy between the 2 strains split into 4 phenos I’m running!!!!
This is so organized and perfect. how high do you have your lights?
thank you! That is amazing to here! right now the light is about 18” above the canopy at 70%. Next adjustment, I’ll get it as high as I can and adjust ppfd from there. Lesson learned: I might do a gorilla tent next time for the additional height. I get the best coverage around 36”.

The Mac1’s have this sharp citrus scent that just wakes you right up! The oreoz are lacking a bit on scent right now. Hoping that picks up next week.

man I love helping remove the hull and the membrane. I’ve actually accidentally snapped the tips of the leaves before but was always able to save them.
with every gently tug I saw me ripping their there little heads off… 😩🙃
